I don’t think you have a dog in this fight but if you did you would have shot it.
I’ll take @ellalangleymsic over Kacey Musgraves any day. And if I’m choosin’ Texas, I’ll take Ken Paxton over James Talarico.

Every year I’m shocked at how much more people care about football than baseball. Why are so many more people interested in watching a standalone Snoop Huntley vs. Mike Penix game than the 2 best pitchers in baseball in the playoffs?

Billionaires can only become that wealthy from rampant exploitation. They pay workers shit, dodge regulations, buy our politicians, rig the laws & fuck over everyone. The idea that they’re just geniuses who work hard has been factually disproven. They’re some of the dumbest most vile entitled selfish narcissistic freaks.
BEZOS: Success is not villainy. You can be a billionaire if you started a hamburger stand.

It pains me to admit, but watching the NFL is slowly becoming less enjoyable. Officiating just feels more and more absurd and fake and robs the joy of the game. This happened to the NBA and it's now unwatchable.

It took 5-6 years and I got a lot of shit for it. But Dave Dombrowski has officially set back the Philadelphia Phillies franchise for the next decade. The same way he departed Boston and the Red Sox are still dealing with the aftermath. @Phillies @Braves
There’s a shelf life on winning in the Dombrowski model. When you gut the farm system and have no prospects to trade & no prospects coming up to offset the high salaries to the veterans on the roster + No $$$ to spend on FA’s… …there is no way to further improve the team.

Aaron Nola is owed $24.6 million dollars through his age 37 season. Dave Dombrowski 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻 @Phillies @Braves
You could actually make the argument that Bloom had incredible foresight when it comes to the Story contract. They might have to eat next years $25+$5 buyout = $30 but old friend Dombrowksi and the Phillies owe Turner $27.3 million through age 40 / 2033 & he’s already cooked:

126 MLB games... .271/.371/.433 125 wRC+ 3.5 fWAR Turned 22 in May. Injuries are annoying, but this dude clearly is good at baseball.
People have lost the plot on Roman Anthony (they did months ago but still). It's fair to question the readiness to anchor a lineup, especially with his injury issues, but calling him a bust is asinine. Too many of you are going there.

Maybe the problem isn’t Roman Anthony but believing that every top prospect needs to put the team on their back and have an 1.100 OPS as soon as they hit MLB.
