The latest incident brings the total number of trucks torched in the Gert Sibande District over the two-day period to six. Police investigations into all the incidents are continuing.
Meanwhile Police took note of the anxiety these incidents could have caused hence maximize resources have been deployed in those areas of concern. In addition, a dedicated task team is actively tracking down those responsible. The SAPS is committed to keeping the community safe.
The Police calls on members of the public with information regarding these perpetrators to come forward so that suspects can be swiftly brought to book.
