Today is #ArmisticeDay when, as a nation, we pause in silence to reflect on the service and sacrifices the Armed Forces make on our behalf. #suttoncoldfield #community
“AI could be the most significant technological revolution in history and it’s moving fast. The problem is not its power but our lack of understanding & attention”. Not today - great insights thanks to enlightening sessions @millenniumpoint with @the_atlp #FuturesReadiness
If you live in #SuttonColdfield the Royal Sutton Coldfield Charity News has arrived. A platform for our Town’s unstoppable charities changing lives against all odds. A paper led & funded by SCCT @trust_sutton - thanks @Midlands_editor for design/production
Fills me with pride to have played a part in @trust_sutton SCCT that has made a difference over centuries and continues to support amazing organisations like @rectoryboxing
We are delighted to be backing @RectoryBoxing Club in #SuttonColdfield with a grant for £18,500, which will pay for equipment, running costs and delivery of their innovative ‘Boxer Beat’ programme for 12 months. It’s a knock-out #boxing partnership!

#SuttonColdfield Cancer Support Centre is organising a black tie ball this winter to raise funds for its important work supporting local people post-diagnosis.
I am privileged to be Patron of the centre, which is based in the same building as @StGilesHospice in Lindridge Road and know just how important it is as a locally-based service.
The Cancer Centre is there to support local people - they may have just received a diagnosis, be about to have surgery or receive hospital treatments, be currently undergoing conventional treatments such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy, have finished your treatment and been discharged, be approaching one of the many follow-up appointments, or be supporting a loved one on their journey.
Set to be held at @astonwood golf club, Blake Street, on Friday 29th November, the dinner looks like not only being one of the biggest dates on the Royal Town’s calendar it will also support a brilliant local charity.
If you are looking for a glamorous, fun night out, I’d urge you to consider putting on your ‘glad rags’ and getting along to support the #Cancer Centre.
Tickets are available individually or as a discounted table of 10 – see the ‘further information’ section at the end of this newsletter for more details.

Great to see @scotgovhealth leading the way.
How will you ensure all voices are heard? An online consultation assumes literacy, fairly fluent English, & access to internet. The least well-served are often most in need, with needs not seen, understood or addressed.
