Andrew's second journal cover this year. We like the fast flow in Macro Lett.

Today, the group celebrates the July heat with a lakeshore party! Huge thanks to Adam’s parents for their generosity. We are gathered at their beautiful Lake Murray house, enjoying pool games, swimming, boating, and a delicious BBQ again showcases by Siteng. Perfect summer vibes!
Congrats to Andrew on his first first-author paper! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…

One of the best seminars in recent years! @CraigGroup_Duke
It’s super cool to listen to another inspiring talk by a good friend, Professor Steve Craig from @DukeChemistry during his visit to @UofSC_Chem. Thank you Chuanbing @tangpolymer to arrange the visit!
Chuanbing asked me to say a few words after him before Shayah's defense. It reminded me of the aqueous solution of lignin I stored with Shayah years ago, for which I was joking that he couldn't graduate until it dried... Looks like nature would like him to go. It's almost dry 🧐

Thumbs up to Project SEED summer student Madelyn and graduate students Shayah and Siteng, who adhere to the idea that lignin may be valorized ;-)
Artwork for my recent perspective article @ACS4Authors. Idea of design came from the diffusion of red ink in water. Thanks to Ella Maru Studio @Ella_Maru in Charleston for the collaboration.

I'm thrilled to announce the publication of our recent work on associative polymers in @PhysRevLett! This research wouldn't have been possible without the collaboration of Shiwang Chen at MSU and @TingGe15 at SU. Thank you!
Thanks to ACS Macromolecules for the invitation and glad to write a perspective article on nanoparticle dynamics in polymers. Lengthy in the style of a 19th-century Russian novel. pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.102…
Thanks to John Lavigne and our theoretical and computational students for making the poster sessions and catering at SETCA 2023 smooth, pleasant, and shining!
The 51st meeting of SETCA is just around the corner! Please visit our website (setca2023.com/) to submit an abstract and register for the conference in Columbia, SC, May 11-May 13, 2023.
Congratulations to Shayah on his 1st first-author paper!

What a spectacular concert that was! ✨
Thank you to @Vienna_Phil and Franz Welser-Möst for such a memorable start to 2023.
If you missed the broadcast, or want simply to relive the moment, you can pre-order the recording of the concert here: viennaphilharmonic.lnk.to/NY…
"To see is to believe" - one natural motivation to do atomistic simulations. Glad to contribute to the teamwork led by Dr. Linda Shimizu pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…
Thanks for the invitation from @softmatter and glad to contribute to Soft Matter Emerging Investigators Series.
“Active blob” is added to the blob language in scaling polymer theory.
