Microsoft's Human Factors Lab measured this with EEG caps. Over four back-to-back video meetings, stress-related brain activity kept climbing. With ten-minute breaks between the same meetings, it reset each time. Not being able to get up isn't just inconvenient. It's the part that makes the fourth meeting feel so much worse than the first.

Emergency staff on nights file broken sleep as part of the job. A French trial measured it.
Even nights off averaged 6 h 21 min. Those given feedback on their own sleep, plus stress techniques, slept 23 minutes more than the controls.

A teen on the phone after 10 pm, longer than on most nights, fell asleep about an hour later.
425 US teens, 7,591 nights, each set against their own usual nights.
This is the kind of pattern Reviel shows you across a week.

AI remembers now. That isn't the hard part. It only knows what you chose to tell it, and people carrying too much are poor witnesses to themselves. Your watch knows your sleep broke. Not why. We're building the layer that does. #Reviel #StressIntelligence

Day one at Disrupt. Came ready to explain what Reviel does. Spent most of the day not needing to. Two sentences in and people would stop me to tell me about someone. Usually themselves, last and quietly. Two more days. #Reviel #TechCrunchDisrupt2026

We're building our own model at Reviel. Trained only on conversations people chose to share, tested privately, run silently alongside our current model, then rolled out in stages with a switch back in minutes. Slower than flipping a switch. The only way we'll do it.

The hardest moments people bring to us always stay with the most capable support we have. Slower than flipping a switch. The only way we'll do it.

Step three: move a small share of everyday conversations to it and watch closely. Step four: expand step by step, with a switch back in minutes if it ever falls short.

Step two: run it silently alongside our current model on live conversations. Nobody sees its answers. We just compare

When it's ready, we won't flip a switch. Step one: test it privately against real-world scenarios, including the most sensitive, until it matches or beats the model we use today

We're starting from quality, not volume. We train only on the strongest conversations, picked by our own evaluation system, and only from people who chose to share them. Our first training trial completes next week.

We're building Reviel's own language model. Here's how we're doing it, and how it rolls out. 🧵

Building Reviel has taught me that people don't need more advice about stress. They need to see their own patterns clearly enough to act on them. Insight you recognize as yours changes behavior. Generic tips rarely do.

Google play rejected our Andriod build on four policy counts in August. We fixed it.Andriod shipped Aug 28. ISO followed in September. Reviel is live on both stores. Not a win. Just the first time anyone outside the team can open it and judge for themselves.
