Weare, N.H. — Lily Tang Williams won the Republican nomination for New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District Tuesday night, with the race called shortly after polls closed.
“This victory belongs to Granite Staters who believe the American Dream is worth fighting for,” said Williams. “Now we take that fight straight to Maggie Goodlander.”
Williams pledged to campaign as an independent voice focused on affordability, opportunity, and representing all Granite Staters.
“I’ll work for every Granite Stater as an independent voice—not the extremists driving today’s Democrat Party,” Williams said. “Maggie Goodlander has had two years in Congress. Now she has to answer for what she has—and hasn’t—accomplished. I’m ready to fight to make New Hampshire affordable again and preserve the American Dream.”

This is an excellent explanation and breakdown of the mail in ballot process with the new executive order.
The new mail-in ballot procedure isn’t something to be afraid of. It works like this:
1. The state provides a list of the ballots they intend to mail out.
2. USPS assigns a unique barcode to each.
3. When the ballot is mailed out, this barcode is scanned to ensure uniqueness and that it matches. If there is no match or it’s a duplicate, it is not delivered.
4. When the voter mails the ballot back, the USPS scans it again and checks to make sure it matches what went out and isn’t a duplicate. Any ballots that don’t match won’t be delivered.
5. This is all done on the exterior envelope. The USPS isn’t determining eligibility or deciding who gets a ballot. They can’t see the actual votes. They are essentially just ensuring there are no duplicates, that the number mailed in isn’t greater than the number mailed out, and that the person mailing one in was the same person who received them.
This is a common sense solution and is completely reasonable.
Why would anyone oppose it unless their intention is to cheat?
Democrats say private and home schools are “unaccountable” yet their students are outperforming public school students by some pretty wide margins.
What can we do to help public catch up? The left says “more money” but home/private spend LESS per student so it isn’t that.
A newly released peer-reviewed study presents the results of the first nationwide homeschool achievement study in 15 years:
“A Nationwide Study on the Academic Achievement of Homeschool Students and Parents’ Reasons for Homeschooling”
Among the findings:
Homeschool students scored 29 percentile points higher in reading than the norm group
25 percentile points higher in language
25 percentile points higher in math
26 percentile points higher in social studies
27 percentile points higher in science
The study also found that student achievement was generally not associated with family income, parent education levels, or whether the teaching parent held state teacher certification.

Following an FBI investigation with our DOJ partners: today we are announcing a superseding indictment against the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Director of Intelligence, Heidi Beirich.
As alleged, Heidi Beirich was at the center of our ongoing investigation into SPLC and their previously alleged criminal activity - where SPLC knowingly misled donors, who believed their money was being used to dismantle violent extremist organizations - when in fact, part of those donations were instead being used to pay senior leadership within those extremist groups.
According to the indictment and our investigation, Beirich played a primary role in this scheme. From at least 2007-2023, Beirich allegedly helped orchestrate this fraudulent activity worth approximately $4.2 million, conspiring with SPLC to defraud donors, obtaining money through these materially false and fraudulent pretenses and omissions to pay leadership of the very violent organizations SPLC claimed to oppose.
Beirich was arrested today - charged with crimes including wire fraud conspiracy, conspiracy to submit false statements to a federally insured bank, and conspiracy to commit concealment money laundering.
This is an ongoing investigation. This FBI will find anyone who exploits the trust of the American people and our financial system.

While Alderman Trisciani mocks people for saying the high taxes will result in losing their homes (while stating she will raise taxes above the tax cap again next year) and School board member-at-large Cindy Stewart tells Ward 9 voters that she views the Tax Cap the starting point of the budget process—real people are feeling the pain of these city budget spending sprees.
