This is how I knew I was ready to manage money. I can speak strongly about a positive AI outlook and the way it may change our lives. But when the story changes, pointed for about 60 seconds, and then I go to work adjusting the portfolios based on the message the market is telling us.

Speaking of that trading principle, here's a story from my early days as a young trader.
Here's a really simple but powerful rule of thumb in trading and investing. Do more of what's working and less of what isn't.

We built a new portfolio engine for Inside Edge investors to track our active portfolio management. One of the key views is allocation vs. price, a quantitative way to judge position sizing. I walked through it on my @CNBCPro video, and it’s live in the investor area at insideedgecapital.com. It holds me accountable too. Price tells the truth, and on $MUSE it’s telling me that moving up to a 5.4% allocation wasn’t timely. I’m probably wrong here and will downsize.

Remember when @jimcramer basically eviscerated Meta's management for spending through free cash flow via $30 billion in capex back in late 2022?

Zuck says you ain't seen nothing yet, he's on the bid for $225B in infrastructure! I recorded a video for @CNBCPro about this and how we plan to manage our position around it.

“In vino veritas.” In wine, there is truth. “Et in pretiis veritas.” In stock prices, there is also truth. Wine tells you what people really think. Price tells you what they really did.

I watch some highly followed influencers on here refusing to acknowledge that the story has at least temporarily changed, riding AI names down significantly and not managing risk.

In fact, if technology again included Meta, Google and Netflix, down 5%, 9%, and 34% on the year, it's reasonable to think that healthcare would be closer to outperforming technology on the year.
I guess not - you wimps 😆

Sector Y-T-D % change update. Anyone want to make a friendly bet that healthcare pulls ahead of technology by year-end? $LLY

In 2022 $META charge ahead in the initial AI buildout to ~35% capex as a % of revenue and Jim Cramer crushed them on air. Well @jimcramer what do we think about 52% capex / revenue?! Covered in this week's video...
