Didn’t make it to the Wyndham Championship this year but was fortunate to play @Sedgefield1926 this weekend and was reminded how great this course is. So excited my hometown event will be a part of the Championship Series on the @PGATOUR as the @GORaymondJames starting in 2028.

I met Notah in New Mexico, where he grew up. He showed me what families from his community battle and it was powerful. He has done so much to help those in need through his foundation. @NotahBegay3 is a blessing to his heritage and to humanity. Well Deserved!

Notah Begay III is this year’s recipient of the Payne Stewart Award presented by @SouthernCompany, honoring his character, sportsmanship and commitment to charitable giving.
It’s fascinating and somewhat refreshing that the winner of @TheOpen was not a a young star in golf that went to a major university for a year or two before turning pro. Ryan Fox came from New Zealand and turned pro at 25 with a “Give it a shot,” mentality. Perseverance wins!

Speaking with his agent @brysondech feels the two shot penalty is unfair and he is disappointed, so much so he will decide tomorrow morning on whether or not to tee it up in the third round of @TheOpen.
It’s not only the first appearance in @TheOpen for @JacksonSuber It’s his first ever trip to Europe. So far, so good.
Tom Kim wins for the first time on the @PGATOUR since 2023. He’s never finished outside 17th in five appearances at the @ScottishOpen and finished 2nd at @TheOpen three years ago. Kim likes links golf and could be a threat next week at Royal Birkdale.
Due to a nearly 2 1/2 hour fog delay at the @ScottishOpen the final pairing of Tom Kim and Jordan Smith will not tee off until 6:15 pm local time. Sunset here is at 9:55 pm but it’s unlikely the third round will be completed today.
The @PGATOUR unveiled new structure for season beginning in 2028.
-Championship Series with average field size of 120 player with a cut. Purses will be $20M for Tour’s elite players.
-Challenger Series of 144 players (Cut) with $4M purse. Opportunity for promotion.
