Midnightで Nightmode という製品をリリースするのですが、まずはEthereumにプライバシーを提供出来るようになります。
言葉を選ばずに界隈にわかりやすい例えをすると、これは「規制対応版トルネードキャッシュ」です。
少しずつ、透明なチェーンでもこのような製品が増えていきますね。
先日、外部チェーンにプライバシーを提供するNightmodeを発表しました。
その背景にあるのが今回ご紹介するSig Network @Sig_Network です。まずは、Ethereumとの連携に対応し、Privacy for Allを実現していきます。

Keystone Hardware Walletでセキュリティインシデント。
顧客情報約26,000件の漏洩は挨拶がわりのジャブで、デバイス認証キー（WebAuth key）も流出したことが判明しました。
このキーは正規品確認に使われるもので、 攻撃者の偽造デバイスが公式認証チェックを通過できる状態になっています。
10月20日より前に届いたデバイスは問題ありませんが、それ以降に届いたデバイスについては偽造の可能性が否定できないため、サポートへの連絡が推奨されています。
また現在の在庫はすべて破棄予定で出荷も一時停止中です。
Ledger事件でマウントしてたけど、やられ具合はこっちがヤバいよ。
11年ぶりに行ってきました。
東京でも数少ない尺玉が上がる大会で、職人花火も上がってました。個人的にそのプログラムが一番良かったです。

公式サイトにアクセスしたと思いきや、何かしらのマルウェアが仕込まれてたということが日常茶飯事になれば、安全にサービスを利用することができなくなりますね。
最悪、自分の身や資産が危険にさらされるということも出てくることでしょう。

security researchers are saying this might be the early stages of a global cyber incident that nobody fully understands yet
if you run a website, use cloud services, store API keys on hosting platforms, or use any software built on PHP, Node.js, or Java you are potentially affected
update everything. rotate your API keys. change your passwords on critical services. enable 2FA everywhere you haven’t already
this is not a normal week on the internet. this is something different
