"You two are living together. Tell me more about that," I said in my office. "We already know it's not Biblical," the bride-to-be said. "Okay. Say more." "What do you mean? I'm saying we know cohabitation isn't Biblical." "Yeah that's what's confusing me. When you asked to meet, you told me you wanted a pastor who shares your Biblical values to do your wedding, but now you're telling me you knowing don't live according to Biblical values? Tell me about how you decided to cohabitate." "Well, we know what the Bible says about marriage and sex, but my lease was up and if I moved in with my parents it'd be a 45 minute drive and if I got my own place again, it'd be a waste of thousands of dollars." "Ah. So time and money are your gods." "No they aren't, we're Christians." "Maybe. But it seems like you're not - a god is what tells you how to live. You chose to listen to time and money on sex and cohabitation instead of Jesus. Which is your god?" "Does this mean you won't do our wedding?" "I didn't say that. But, you did say you wanted a pastor. That's why we're here. I'm a pastor, not a hireling wedding officiant. Do you want a pastor or a vender for your wedding?" "A pastor." "Okay, great. Then here's my concern for you: you've developed a habit of hardening your hearts against the authority of Scripture and the conviction of the Holy Spirit. Today, if you hear his voice, don't harden your hearts as they did in the rebellion. You said your Christians, I'll take your word for it right now, but you need to repent and move out until your wedding night. Jesus will certainly forgive if you repent and he'll cleanse you from all unrighteousness." "Okay. So, if we don't do this then you won't do our wedding?" "You're missing the point here. You're not even close to worried enough about what God thinks or says. My job as a pastor is to help you care about what God says, not get you to care about what I say.” “Okay.” “Do you have anything to say?” I said to the Groom-To-Be. “No.” “That’s a bummer. You’re not going to lead this family if you have nothing to say.” “Okay.” “Alright. Well, you have a lot to think about. If you want a pastor, I’d be happy to be a part of your wedding. If you want a vendor, let me know. More important than your wedding is your relationship with Jesus. Is He your God or not? Think and pray together.” *an email three days later* “We’ve decided to go a different direction.” — Some thoughts: 1. My heart breaks for those who make time and money their god. This idolatry is oppressive. 2. I’d for sure officiate the wedding of two non-Christians. As long as they’re okay with me telling the truth about what marriage is and who and what it’s for, I’m in. This is a 10/10 evangelism opportunity straight out of Eph 5:32. 3. But, two professing Christians who are sinning highhandedly? No. “For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church whom you are to judge? God judges those outside.” 1 Co 5:12–13).

I am not a nice person. Nice is a vice, its an idol of our post war secular liberal culture. Being nice is what allowed the church to be castrated in the West. Niceness and fear of offending others is how women's ordination, gay marriage, abortion and mass Islamic migration went unchallenged by the vast majority of churches. Obsession with socially acceptable niceties still pervades many church leaders thinking even as our formerly Christianized culture crumbles around us. Like the Pharisees of old many senior church leaders prefer keeping up appearances and maintaining the status quo of liberalism so they don't lose their seats at certain tables that they should really be tipping over. Even among the so called biblically faithful, evangelical, orthodox leaders there is an overwhelming lean towards always being nice and never rocking the boat. I say to hell with that! Real Christianity, the faith that built Christendom and is the foundation of Western civilization, it is a faith for mighty saints, a muscular, outspoken, unapologetically bold religion based on a person's saving relationship with Jesus Christ. So no, I'm not nice. I can be kind, patient, charitable, forgiving, loving and gracious when the situation demands it. But never nice. My first allegiance is to Christ the King and His unchanging Word. I give no quarter to evil, I make no apologies for sound doctrine, I hate sin and I won't back down, be quiet or go away. We have a nation to save, a Christian culture to restore and being nice won't cut it. Who else is sick of "niceianity" and are you real Christians ready to bring the true gospel to our lands again?

God's perfect will has a lot to do with the truth of this...
Let me tell you exactly how a civil war in the U.S. would go because a lot of you seem to have some glorious delusions about it. 80 million gun owners in the United States means absolutely nothing if no one is willing to use them, which the 2A community has made clear they aren’t. You pay 60% of your income to people who groom your kids and send billions in fraud to Somalis. Nothing happens. For decades, our movement has said abortion is murder. There are baby murder mills on every corner of every city. Nothing happens. No one did a single thing during the Floyd riots, during the Epstein scandal, or during Covid lockdowns. Not a single thing. I cannot fathom what event would make people take up arms now. Tens of millions of Americans think that an election was fraudulently stolen and the illegal president flooded our country with 30 million illegals. No one did anything. Even if people were willing to take up arms, there is zero organization, planning, or prepping. There is no leadership hierarchy, no victory criteria, no logistics or manufacturing, no supply lines, nothing that could sustain combat operations. And who is your opponent? Who do you actually kill? People seem to think that “the enemy” is some other town, city, or state, filled to the brim with armed antifa Stalinites. In reality, your opponents are your neighbors. It’s grandmothers, single moms, and college kids, not some armed resistance. Shooting up your local school board doesn't seem to be a winning proposition. Even the most solid dem or republican districts only vote for their party by a 60-70% plurality, meaning ~30% of your city, town, or county is your sworn enemy. That’s a lot of people. Likewise, 30% of your “enemy’s” territory are your own people. How does, say, Abilene take up arms against Austin without tremendous crossfire, and what is the victory condition? Let’s say you take the Ted K method and agree that it’s not the general public that needs to go, but the elites controlling them. What then? How do you organize armed resistance to target them? Historically, if a resistance movement can’t fight a traditional fronted war, and your warfighters won’t form a well regulated militia, then a resistance resorts to terror tactics. Think of the Irish troubles, Italian Years of Lead, and precursor events to the Spanish civil war. The Ted K/IRA/Italian method is to send car bombs to politicians, package bombs to professors, and general terror to the main avenues of civic life. It didn't work. Ted K got arrested and changed nothing. Ireland remains split. Spain and Italy are controlled EU communist blocks. The reality is that unorganized terror campaigns achieve very little structural reform. What they do achieve is dead school kids lying in the street because a bomb went off at the wrong location. Dead citizens at a shopping mall, none of which were politicians. Slaughtered fathers at a sports stadium who were just trying to watch a game. Commuters trying to go to work ripped apart from a train bomb. In any case, none of the elites ever take the brunt of the killing. When civic life collapses and people stop participating in cultural staples, everything falls apart. Bars close down, schools are filled with armed guards and kids stop learning, move theaters collapse (not the worst thing tbf), organized sports collapse, commuters stop showing up for work, and we end up living like cattle in a pen. Social trust collapses, the economy collapses, and national or regional identity reverts to clan/family/town identity. Once this happens, we follow the same path as Yugoslavia and break apart into tribal regionalization. California, Oregon, and Washington splinter into some pacific alliance, taking with it more than half of domestic food production and wheat exports. Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and all of New England form an Atlantic alliance and shut down more than thirty deep water ports. That means no imports or exports come from or to red states. In turn, the red states begin withholding all corn, wheat, sorghum, and soy trade with blue states. All advanced manufacturing disappears too with no off takers to purchase it. Eventually, people will get tired. They'll get tired of seeing their kids blown apart at school. Tired of watching their brothers die in a ditch somewhere. Tired of turning on the news to see some random gunfight in a random neighborhood achieve nothing. Tired of watching basic goods disappear. Tired of having no income. They'll simply become exhausted of death and destruction with no end. Think of the 1960's race riots. What did they achieve? Absolutely nothing. They only ended because people became tired. The war will end with nothing changing. Lincoln knew this even in our fledgling phase - the union as a whole can't survive without all parts of whole contributing. Blue states can't survive without red, and vice versa. When the US balkanizes, we'll still trade, it'll just be harder. We'll still have population migrations, it'll just be harder. We'll still cooperate, but everything will persist under a massive layer of resentment, distrust, and malign intent. The same processes will continue, just significantly less efficiently. The 60's race riots accomplished nothing. Ireland remains divided. Yugoslavia will never return. The United States will only follow them if it pursues rhetoric that encourages unorganized violence with no true way to win. This isn't to say that there's never a use for violence; quite the contrary. We celebrate organized, armed resistance every Fourth of July. But what I've seen over the last few decades is that the stomach and intellectual capacity to organize a true resistance effort does not exist here. I strongly encourage people to step away from the ledge lest you learn what millions of others have learned the hard way.

1774: they blew tobacco smoke up drowning victims' backsides to revive them, and the kits hung along the Thames like lifebuoys. 1863: they sold cocaine wine as a daily tonic, and a pope pinned a gold medal on it. 1898: they sold heroin as a cough medicine, and spooned it into coughing children. 1918: they sold radium water as a health drink, and the millionaire who drank 1,400 bottles was buried in a lead-lined coffin with most of his jaw gone. 1921: they put lead in petrol, and Britain kept it in the pumps until 2000. 1930s: they X-rayed children's feet in shoe shops, and kids queued to watch their toes wiggle on the screen. 1940s: they rubbed mercury teething powder into babies' gums, and about 1 in 500 of those babies was poisoned. 1946: they sold cigarettes on the line that more doctors smoked their brand, and put a man in a white coat on the advert. 1949: they gave the lobotomy a Nobel Prize, and doctors went in through the eye socket with an ice pick. 1952: they sold a cigarette filter made of asbestos as the greatest health protection in smoking history, and smokers drew it into their lungs with every puff. 1957: they sold thalidomide to pregnant women for morning sickness, and around 10,000 babies were born with missing or shortened limbs. 1960s: they sold margarine as the heart-healthy fat, and spread trans fat on a generation's toast. 1996: they sold OxyContin as barely addictive, and started an overdose epidemic. 1999: they sold Vioxx for sore joints, and pulled it five years later after tens of thousands of heart attacks. 2026: they're selling seed oil as the heart-healthy fat, and it's in almost every packet in your kitchen. Every one of these came with an expert's blessing and the same total certainty. The people telling you which fat to fear today sit in the same chairs as the ones who put radium in the water and a doctor on the cigarette packet, and they're every bit as sure. "The experts recommend it" has the longest body count in medicine...... The above is copied from another person on another platform. Credit to @samahoole on FB.

And now we understand the absolutely rabid obsession with destroying Pete Hegseth. I’ve been in the Army since before 9/11. Served under many secretaries. Only in the past 18 months have I experienced: >politicians warning me not to follow illegal orders >billboards outside military bases telling me to report war crimes >the media attacking anyone who has a positive thing to say about the man, and defending anyone who hates him >stunning volume of leaks from senior officials trying to undermine him, and the lionizing of the leakers by the press >being called a war criminal myself, hundreds of times a day >a sustained media narrative portraying virtually every firing or senior officer removal as a “purge” >public efforts by retired officers, advocacy groups, and political figures to mobilize service members and military communities against administration policies >influential “Americans” publicly cheering for Iran This is just to name a few. I’ve NEVER experienced anything like this before. And it’s becoming abundantly clear that the concerted effort to divide the military from within was stunted when Hegseth took over. Anyone desiring color revolution needs control of the military. That’s color revolution 101. Is it starting to make sense yet? Now you see the obsession over him in particular. It’s not a coincidence. And it damn sure isn’t because of his culture war. It’s because by all objective metrics, he runs a military that snatches rogue leaders from their beds, destroys entire militaries, and successfully mobilizes assets to save one downed pilot in the middle of enemy territory by building an Air Force base… in the middle of enemy territory. Secures the border, dominates the hemisphere. Hunts drug cartels. The list goes on. He is by all meaningful accounts, effective at wielding the machine. And that is why they drool at the thought of removing him. In years past you’d be hard pressed to find a junior Soldier who knew the name of the cabinet secretary above them. Every one of them knows Pete Hegseth. Every one.
Almost like it’s important to hold the authority to deploy the security forces

There was once a shepherd who found a wolf caught in a snare at the edge of his pasture. The wolf begged to be freed. “I was hungry,” it said. “That is all. Spare me, and I will remember your mercy!” The shepherd cut the rope. The next night, three lambs were gone. Again the shepherd found the wolf. Again it pleaded. Again the shepherd convinced himself that mercy was proof of his goodness. By winter, half the flock was dead. An old farmer finally asked him, “Why do you keep freeing it?” The shepherd answered, “Because I refuse to become cruel.” The farmer looked at the empty field and said, “Then understand what you have done. You were not merciful to the wolf. You were cruel to everything that trusted you to keep them safe.” That’s the lesson. Mercy without judgment isn’t virtue. When someone openly intends to destroy what has been entrusted to you, endless forgiveness doesn’t make you righteous. It makes everyone behind you pay for your vanity.

GREAT political ad...
THIS is how you run an ad. 🔥 Every Republican should be running ads like this. Blakeman just turned Hochul's whole record into a comedy sketch, and it's going to leave a mark.😂

Absolute travesty...
The NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles almost killed Jalen Hurts for a Week 5 international showcase. The full details of what happened behind closed doors in London just surfaced, and the negligence is staggering. Before kickoff in London, Hurts was in a hospital bed until 4:00 AM undergoing emergency vascular testing. Medical staff instructed him not to sleep because sleep was considered an active health risk. Instead of shutting down their $255 million franchise quarterback, the team cleared him to play 60 minutes of brutal, high-impact collision football on zero sleep. Then, they loaded him onto a pressurized, 8-hour transatlantic flight back to Philadelphia. Every doctor on the planet knows that long-haul flights and cabin pressure are the exact triggers that cause lower-extremity blood clots to break free. The Eagles spent days assuring the public it was just a "minor, superficial calf clot". Now the truth comes out: the clot dislodged, shot through his bloodstream, and caused multiple pulmonary emboli in his lungs. Hurts is officially out for the season, placed on blood thinners where taking a single routine tackle could cause a fatal internal hemorrhage. He isn't just lucky to play football again, he is lucky to be alive. When the NFL preaches "player safety," remember this moment. They ran a human being into the ground for television ratings in the UK, almost lost him to a preventable medical catastrophe, and cratered their entire season in the process. Who inside that building signed off on letting him play and board that flight?

I clocked in last week and the waiting room was the same horror movie it’s been for years. Entire families of Spanish speakers. The addict screaming that he needs to be seen NOW. A regular who comes in for the same abscess because he lives in a car behind a liquor store and nobody is going to follow up. Then I went home after 14 hours and watched the people on here argue about whether voting is beneath them and trying to convince people to sit this one out. I don’t care if you’re mad at Thune, mad at RINOs, mad that 3/4 of the agenda we voted for didn’t land. I work in a southern California ER. I already know what the Democrat’s version of “healthcare” and “compassion” looks like at 2 a.m. Stay home in November and tell me later you didn’t vote for this. I will still be the one holding the bag. You’ll just get a better view of what I’ve already witnessed. What would actually get you to the polls besides another AI meme that says “vote”?

Passing time in a tightly packed airport coffee shop recently, I ended up in conversation with a thirty-something couple sitting only inches from me. I was coming from Mexico City and they were going there. After the usual banter, I asked where they were from and learned they were New Yorkers moving out of that city. They didn’t offer a reason and I didn’t press for one. They asked me what I did for a living and I explained that I was a writer currently investigating how cartels were smuggling people into the US. I say I was chatting with this couple, but it was really only with her. He said nothing the entire time. But he listened intently as she asked questions. “You travel a lot? Where have you been?” “Well, so far this year, I’ve covered the WEF in Davos, researched Karl Marx in London, went to Gaza with the IDF…” “You’ve been to Israel?” She interrupted. “We’ve been there. What do you think of the war?” I guessed that here our conversation would end unhappily. They were New Yorkers, so almost certainly heavily propagandized lefties. But I pressed on. “Almost everything you hear in Western media is wrong…” “You mean it’s a lie. How?” “Oct 7 was not just a Charlie Hebdo-style terrorist attack. It was an act of war. More than 7,000 Hamas terrorists penetrated the frontier at more than 100 points. Inspired by Islam, they had been instructed to r8pe, behead, torture, and kidnap men, women, and children.” He still said nothing, but leaned forward, eyes narrowing. “Who helped them do it?” She asked. “Iran was the biggest supplier, but North Korea, China, and Qatar mostly. The UNRWA also played a role. Weapons and matériel were stockpiled in Egypt and smuggled into Gaza through tunnels.” “You know that?” “I know that. Trust me.” That led to a discussion of President Sisi, the Muslim Brotherhood, and my standoff with Egyptian State Security in Cairo. Still, I had no real gauge for where they stood politically. She asked if I had written anything on the subject, so I pointed her to my article for The Federalist connecting the dots between Egypt, USAID, Gaza, and my swatting. A woman sitting nearby, leaned over and said, “Forgive me for eavesdropping on your conversation, but this is fascinating.” We all chatted a bit longer and I left. About 30 minutes later I was standing in line at the gate waiting to board my flight when the husband appeared. “Pardon me, but I had to come find you.” He was full of emotion. He indicated that he and his wife were Israelis who had lived in NYC but were now fleeing Mamdani’s third world sh*thole. “You are a man who needs the protection of angels,” he said, and then presented me with a Jewish holy book. “We want you to have this. I pray it protects you.” With that he turned and walked away. Gentile and fierce Protestant that I am, I was nonetheless deeply moved. It seems they had read the article and, catching a glimpse of my work, felt my life was in danger. For my own part, I was aware that the same ideology that threatened me, was the same one that threatened them, forced them to move, and imperiled their native land. I’m often amazed by the people the Lord puts in my path when I pause long enough to look around and notice them.

Bishop Fulton J. Sheen, 1965 Over 65 years ago warned us all that the United States would be ruined by toxic empathy. “False compassion… is a pity shown not to the mugged, but to the mugger; not to the family of the murdered, but to the murderer.” And here we are today…

🚨 BREAKING: Elon just nuked the entire media playbook in under 90 seconds. Journalist: “You support the far-right!” Elon: “No. You support the lunatic left. What was completely normal 10-15 years ago is now called ‘far-right’… because your side went completely insane.” Safe cities. Secure borders. Biological reality. Common sense. None of that is “far-right.” It’s just not crazy. The Overton window didn’t shift right. The left sprinted off a cliff and started calling everyone who didn’t jump “extremists.” Elon said it out loud. And the media still can’t cope. Lunatic left. He’s 100% right.
