#Bears James Daniels isn’t as effective on inside zone/power scheme concepts. He usually does a good job of initiating contact but struggles to generate movement at the point of attack.
Daniels also has lapses of lunging and false stepping. He plays really aggressive which can help him and hurt him. You would like to see him play with more patience in pass protection. Wait for the defender to show their move and then engage.
With all of that being said, I think a move back to center could really benefit Daniels. He can be more of the help blocker and not deal with so many 1v1 match ups. #Bears
Daniels is much more efficient in outside zone, where he can use his athleticism to move laterally and get to the second level. He doesn’t posses overbearing power, so the more momentum he has the better. #Bears #OlineTwitter
