I’ve been reading/listening to commentary on the lab leak theory from @BretWeinstein and others for around 12 months and feel glad it’s finally being looked at seriously. We can’t expect to learn lessons unless all possible origins are explored thoroughly and objectively.
In March last year, it was widely agreed by everybody sensible, me included, that talk of the pandemic originating in a laboratory was pseudoscientific nonsense.

When I say my political views are center-left, people sometimes envision the top figure, but in reality my views look more like the bottom figure.
Being a centrist or on the left or right doesn't mean ALL one's views are in the center, left, or right. Rather, it's an average.
