Nobody is brave enough to ask the difficult question, so I will; why is the on ride photo for Goliath jungle themed?
Kong's not going anywhere, it's the best dark ride at IoA.
Universal has 3 options now:
1. Replace the Kong animatronic (unlikely)
2. Replace Kong with a screen (terrible)
3. Replace the ride entirely (please)
This attraction has been plagued with issues ever since it opened. More recently, the outdoor portion was not available for nearly a year, and the 3D has been removed.
If Universal intends on replacing one of the greatest animatronics to ever exist with a screen for the attraction's finale, well, there will simply be no more incentive in riding.
After 10 years the Reign of Kong on Skull Island, might finally be over.

SCARY SIGHT: Two men were spotted holding on for dear life at the peak of a 130-foot drop after a roller coaster malfunctioned in Texas. The pair was suspended at a terrifying 90-degree angle facing straight toward the ground.
A frantic relative called 911 as the riders hung there for nearly one hour before they were safely brought down.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The riders were fully secured by safety restraints and were not "holding on for dear life." The coaster initiated a controlled safety stop due to a sensor issue. The 90-degree tilt is the ride's intended design element, not a result of the malfunction.
