Anytime, I trade p2p on bybit, I’ll first send the money to another bank before I release the coin to the vendor.. they be doing some shady stuff on that platform.
My brother changed coin on Bybit, or whatever you guys usually do, and OPay locked the ₦300,000 he received. He went to their office yesterday, and they told him the money was fraudulent. Apparently, the total amount involved is ₦4 billion, scattered across 21 banks. So it’s either he gives them permission to refund the money to the person who was scammed, or he goes to court.
So basically, his ₦300k is just gone like that? Kuda has done this to me before, and I made sure I got my money back. I spent three weeks tracking that money until they finally unlocked my account. 😭
