For the love of all that is good, Democrats, do not squander this. The voters have given you a mandate. Use it. Be the party of working people. Be the anti-war party. Be the anti-corruption party. Be the party that ignores the Senate Parliamentarian. We cannot go back to business as usual.

Call me a hater, but if you owe a woman $5 million for sexual assault, you have absolutely no business being president. RESIGN.

We are spending more time talking about Haley Stevens than we are about the many candidates supporting a president who has acquired two new sexual assault allegations in a week
Must watch... she's so brave.
“I was one of the child victims of Donald Trump.” Dr. Larissa Portnoff, a clinical psychologist in her 30s, says it began around age 8 and resumed at 16 and 17. She thought she’d escaped “a pedophile ring,” calls Trump “clearly a pedophile and dangerous,” and says someone made an attempt on her life after her report.
Her message: “We need to get the corruption to stop. We need to use our voices. We need to get Donald Trump out of office.” And to Trump: “If you think you’re going to intimidate me, Donald Trump, it’s not going to work. I'm not afraid of you.” Please share. #press #Trump #Corruption #Justice #Accountability #rape

How many more women have to come forward before people admit they elected a sexual abuser to the highest office?
How many victims need to suffer before the full Epstein files are released?
Remember this brave woman when you vote today.

For the first time in American history, a judge has had to order the President of the United States to stop threatening election officials. Nixon did far less and was forced to resign. So this is where the American political system is now.

It is very hard to share an opinion politically-neutral in thought after the last 8+ years, but good lord, whether you're a democrat or a republican, having the leader of the USA talk like this to someone, & at the camera knowing it'll be broadcast nationally is so effing gross.

U.S. District Court Judge Carter with a mic drop. 👀
Judge David Carter: "Never before in American history has the federal government, on the eve of an election, sought to coerce a state and local government to abandon their own Constitutional election procedures and bend to the will of the Executive Branch. In bringing this lawsuit, the Executive would have this Court believe that it reigns as a sole sovereign. But California and its people are sovereign, too."
Admittedly, I’m biased but fall in central Virginia might just be one of the most beautiful places on Earth! Get outside& just breathe for a few minutes today!

🇺🇸Journalist: "You have been in office for over 540 days now."🔥
🇺🇸Trump: So?
🇺🇸Journalist: "If what you said tonight is backed up by evidence, why hasn’t anyone been charged?" 🔥
🇺🇸Trump: Next question, please.
American Journalists are absolutely cooking Trump 👏

Imagine if Hunter Biden was denied a security clearance, Biden overrode it and gives him one anyway, he then is put in charge of Middle East foreign policy, had his phone hacked, and we find out he has two private bank accounts, one from Saudi Arabia and one from Israel…yea
The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

Forever a legend 🙌
@tyjerome_ 's 45 points last night are the most points scored by a former Hoo in an NBA game 🪣

Absolute Legend 💙🧡 #wahoowa
Ty Jerome started every game for the only number one seed in history to lose to a number sixteen.
Eleven months later he was an all tournament pick on the national champion.
Tonight he scored 45 points for the Memphis Grizzlies.
He is from New Rochelle, New York, and he went to Iona Preparatory School there. Harvard recruited him. So did Temple and Davidson.
Tony Bennett found him by accident. The Virginia coach was in a gym scouting somebody else.
His father Mark put a basketball in his crib. By two he was dribbling two of them at once in Washington Heights. At eight he was playing for the Riverside Hawks against kids two years older, and the family drove all over the city for it. Rucker Park, Dyckman, Coney Island.
He was playing against Donovan Mitchell in those tournaments.
One weekend he played five baseball games and six basketball tournaments.
Mark had played a little at Lafayette and he coached his son hard, so that nobody could say he had a favorite.
"I screamed and yelled at him probably too much."
Now the night everybody remembers.
March 2018. Virginia had gone 31 and 2. The best team in the country, the number one overall seed, and Jerome a sophomore starter.
UMBC beat them 74 to 54.
A sixteen seed had never beaten a one seed. Not once, in the entire history of the tournament.
Here is the part worth knowing.
Jerome stayed on the floor until the final whistle, and then he went and sat down in front of the reporters.
Somebody asked him whether he was aware that a sixteen had never won before.
"I think everyone's aware of that. Thanks for bringing that up again."
His father had already left the building. Here is how Mark describes the walk back to the hotel.
"Longest walk of my life."
"Just heartbreak and pain."
"There was no fixing that night."
Mark says his son was alright again inside a week. Mark himself needed a long talk with the head coach.
Andscape is where the family laid all of that out.
The next season Jerome started all 37 games. Virginia won the national championship and he made the all tournament team.
That summer he turned up at the NBA Summer League in a shirt with the UMBC logo on it and Virginia printed over the top.
He was a top fifty recruit out of high school, not a nobody, and he is in his eighth NBA season. One enormous night in October is one night.
But he was on the floor for the worst loss in the history of college basketball, and he was on the floor eleven months later when they won the whole thing.
And tonight he made seventeen of twenty five.

Since 2013…
1,208 children have been shot at school.
0 children have received gender reassignment surgery at school.
We've turned imaginary issues into national emergencies while turning a blind eye to real threats.
While heroic action stopped the shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, before more people were harmed, “the real goal is to never need these heroes at all,” said James Densley, co-founder of The Violence Prevention Project.

I am begging everyone to understand how fucking insane it is that we have children selling wrapping paper, running laps and begging relatives for donations to fund public education while private companies get public money to build enormous computers. It shouldn't be like this.

My son is a senior in high school who works thirty hours a month at a sporting goods retailer.
He submitted a written time-off request four weeks in advance for his high school graduation ceremony and family dinner. The supervisor signed the paper and pinned it to the bulletin board.
When the weekly roster was posted, the store manager had scheduled him for a closing shift right through the exact hours of his graduation ceremony.
When my son brought the signed approval sheet to the manager’s desk, the man shrugged and said:
"Business needs change. If you don't show up for your shift, consider it job abandonment. In the real world, you learn that your job comes before personal plans."
My son sat in the car in our driveway, completely defeated, genuinely believing he had to choose between walking across the graduation stage or keeping his job.
I walked into the store with him, found the manager, and had my son hand over his nametag and uniform shirt on the spot.
I looked the manager in the eye and said:
"In the real world, you are a retail manager attempting to manipulate a teenager into missing a once-in-a-lifetime milestone he worked twelve years to earn, all to fold sweatpants on a Friday evening. His resignation is effective immediately."
The manager stammered, turned red, and started offering to find shift coverage on the spot. We walked out.
Teach your children early: an hourly job that demands you sacrifice your education, your milestones, and your self-worth does not value you as a human being. Never let an entry-level supervisor convince your child that their future is negotiable.
