Police Chief James Ramer confirms the death of an officer, Const Jeffrey Northrup, killed while investigating an incident together with his partner.

Three @HamiltonPolice officers stabbed while trying to subdue a suspect at James Street North and Mulberry Street in #HamOnt. Four people, including the suspect, transported to hospital by @HPS_Paramedics. Area closed for investigation.
