There is a non-zero chance these two will get into a psychical fight on the House floor:

Ya, idea is all major federal entitlements, starting with OAS and the GIS, should be rolled into an expanded CPP and managed by CPP Investments. Instead of treating them as yearly operating costs paid out of general revenue, put them on a proper funded footingβlike CPPβwith a dedicated pool of appreciating assets that supports the balance sheet and delivers more stable, long-term financing for the benefits.

This should be far more expansive but itβs a significant first step
I like the budget. The tax reforms are really solid, and the investment in the grid will help (especially for Ontario as we accelerate nuclear expansion). I'm not a big fan of how huge the deficit is given the windfall, but itβs manageable thanks to a solid debt-to-GDP ratio.

Trump has gay dementia and only cares about his lavish construction projects. He has transformed into Ludwig II.

Oh wait the Annie Andrews 2028 endorsement is gonna be, like, world-changingly big
I wish Carney met with PSPP before the EU conference instead of forcing us to listen to him crash out every five minutes. Probably wouldnβt have stoped him but still.
π¨ BREAKING NEWS
Iβm told by a federal source that Prime Minister Mark Carney and Quebec Premier Paul Saint-Pierre Plamondon will meet during the Francophonie Summit.
According to the source, both leaders agree on the importance of meeting in person as soon as possible, rather than holding a virtual meeting.
Ottawa also says it is open to another working meeting in Quebec City at an appropriate time.
From the very beginning, it was obvious that rallying yourself around an irrelevant actor (who lives in LA), sloganeering and gesturing on a late-night show hosted in New York, was never going to be anything particularly serious.
