The grim reaper is a nice agricultural anthromorphic personification. In the north of England where farming is more sheep and cattle led, especially the fells the biggest danger came from the Scottish raiders. Reavers as they were known. Let's back-create the Grim Reaver.

call me crazy but perhaps if the state had just taken this guy's car off him the first time he used it as a weapon, then the victim might still be alive

Genuinely... why isn't there a website of 'WHAT IS NIGEL MOANING ABOUT TODAY'? All he does is gripe and whinge. Snowflakier than Frosty's dandruff.
Andy Burnham: "There won't be an election anytime soon."
John Curtis (the election expert): "The chance of an early election is less than 5%."
The Media: "ELECTION, ELECTION, ELECTION, ELECTION, ELECTION."
The media are just frothing for policial chaos.
This is *very* important.

Sorry but paper ballots are something I will defend to the death. You need a voting system simple enough that the dumbest person can see and understand everything about how it works. Trust is more important than speed.

So close! What we're seeing here is a setup. Guy phoned it in himself and had cameras ready to film the visit from enforcement to upload for content. No 12 year old is running a teddy bear cafe
You can have all the Martyns Law you want but when they don't bother to use the installed infrastructure then its pretty poor. Especially when we have had a relatively recent car/pedestrian incident. @lpoolcouncil
This is it. Liverpool City Council has focussed on the low hanging fruit - Beatles, Football and Tourism. A good base and a benefit but not very hard when the private sector does it so well. We need focus on computer games, biotech and the post-production film industry.
Our sources in the LCR inform us an International media company pulls away from relocation into the Liverpool city region due to its party style economy meanwhile @LCRMayor is silent TTTTTT that’s another fine mess he’s got us into to go along with his food app and his hydrobuses
No. It's disgusting but it is the way it is. There is no ideology behind it other than bare financialism.
I saw Tom Watson in the Baltic Fleet once during a Labour Party conference. I remember getting the impression he had no greater love than the sound of his own voice booming across the pub.

A man who raced over 90mph in a 30mph zone got a £253 fine and a 56-day driving ban.
"If these men had caused the same level of endangerment by any other means, it’s hard to believe they would have got off so lightly."

My abiding personal memory of September 11th and the aftermath was for weeks afterwards looking up every time you heard a plane in the sky.
There is a weird picture in the @guardian about the new ticket acceptance rules.
Firstly, Huyton isn't a terminal stop so I don't know why it's there. Secondly I can't think of a station on the Wigan-Liverpool line (which this is) that has a large traditional clock.
AI?
That gay mime band were pretty good last night - especiallt the Kurt Weill and Jaques Brel covers. @DresdenDolls
