Being right about the market is useless if you lose money expressing it You can predict the entire move and still get stopped out twice, chase the third entry, and exit before the target Execution is where you should spend 90% of your effort

When you're in a losing streak, you naturally want to fix something. Adjust entries, tighten your stops, become more selective When you're in a winning streak, you start thinking about how much more you could make. You want to increase your size, loosen your criteria, take more trades In both situations, you're doing the exact same thing: allowing your recent results to dictate how you trade next. Think about how absurd that is You trade your strategy precisely because you know that your decisions have positive expectancy But the moment you start adjusting it based on a handful of recent trades, you're abandoning that entire foundation You're no longer trading the system You're trading your reaction to what just happened A profitable strategy doesn't need you to improve its results It needs you to stop interfering with the results it's already capable of producing

You shouldn't be on the screen for your entire trade Maybe 5-10% of it at most If you trust your setup, you don’t need to babysit it. If you don’t trust it, no amount of staring will save it
