Story time.
Around 1920, a teenage boy named Stefanos stepped off a ship in New York. His parents, Georgios and Aspasia, were Greek, and he'd been born in the port city of Marseille.
He made his way, became an American citizen, and worked as a beautician. In 1927 he married Helena, a Brooklyn girl from a big Italian family. Her mother, Clotilde, and father, Filippo, came from Italy, and she grew up with brothers Vincent, Joseph, Augusta and Menotti.
Stefanos and Helena had two sons, George and Phil. Their first home was Clotilde's house in Brooklyn, full of family. The boys grew up on Long Island.
Just a generation later out came a guy who is referred to as Horse on X, and trades from his pajamas half the time while his kids tear down his office.
