We are not saved by good works, but we are saved for good works.

The worst this world has to offer will not last forever.

The slide into temptation begins when we question whether what God said back then still applies to us today.

Meeting physical needs without sharing the gospel leaves the greatest need unmet.

Imagine one day a week when you don’t have to prove yourself. You can stop working, enjoy God’s gifts, and trust him with what remains unfinished. Explore Sabbath in our Holy Habits course: travisagnew.org/courses/sabb…

Some Christians read Revelation with a Bible, a calculator, three prophecy charts, and a mild sense of panic. Don't be so busy trying to decode the future that you miss the point. Revelation is meant to strengthen our faith, not terrify us. travisagnew.org/articles/rev…

If someone asked you to explain the gospel in 60 seconds, could you? Four words can help: Creation. Corruption. Crucifixion. Commission. The gospel isn't good advice about what we do for God. It's good news about what Jesus has done for us. travisagnew.org/podcasts/wha…

📡 Prayer Connects Everything Prayer isn’t the last piece of the armor. It’s what connects every piece together. God never intended you to fight spiritual battles in your own strength. Stay connected to the One who sees what you cannot and knows the way forward. Ephesians 6:18

People are more likely to follow what you do than what you say. Nehemiah didn’t just direct the work. He joined it. Titles may give you authority. Example earns you influence. Lead from the front, and others will be more likely to follow.

Why vote if you can’t trust politicians? Why use a space heater when the HVAC breaks? It won’t fix it, but it can knock off the chill. Voting can keep things from getting worse. It may not be as good as it should be, but it doesn’t have to be as bad as it could be.

Don't count this generation out! In one month, our youngest Rocky Creek members have worked, sold items, and saved enough money for 37 of their 150-seat goal for our next sanctuary! Challenge the next generation to do something significant and watch what God does through them!

Don't just pray for more workers in God's harvest. Prayerfully consider becoming one. The gospel is too important to treat as if it can wait. Kingdom Urgency | Luke 10:1–16 travisagnew.org/sermons/king…

📖 “If these were silent, the very stones would cry out.” — Luke 19:40 In college, when my gratitude dried up, I put a pebble in my shoe. Every time I felt it rattle, I remembered that if the rocks weren't crying out in praise, I needed to. Don't leave the rocks to do your job.

Today, I held the hands of two people in our church family, one of our youngest and one of our oldest. One at the beginning of life, the other nearing the end. What a beautiful reminder that from our first breath to our last, the same faithful God holds us through it all.

The tragedy isn't just those who reject the gospel, but those who refuse to share it.

Young pastors will never know the stress of Time Change Sunday before smartphones. We felt personally responsible for making sure everyone changed their clocks so attendance wouldn’t be a mess. But today, I’m thankful for an extra hour of rest & an extra pep in our worship step!
