Two years ago, Fida Kiwan, an Israeli Arab resident of Haifa, was caught in Dubai with half a kilo of cocaine and sentenced to death. The State of Israel has been acting non-stop since then, her sentence was initially commuted to life imprisonment, and last night the President of the United Arab Emirates decided to grant her amnesty as a gesture and at the request of President Herzog. This is how the State of Israel fights for every citizen, Jew and Arab. By the way, the same Fida owned a cafe in Haifa and in 2010 she refused to serve a soldier in uniform. I am sure that today she already knows how to appreciate the country that fought for her more, because she knows very well that if she had the citizenship of any other Arab country, she would not be alive today...
