The great thing about Godzilla as a property is that in can exist in both the prestige and the absurd and be well suited to both. In fact I would argue only having one would be bad for it.

It’s we want original animated films, films with stakes, animation is cinema, etc until it’s time to actually show up when we get them.

LAIKA’s ‘Wildwood’ opens with $11 million domestically. It is currently the second lowest opening for the studio, behind ‘Missing Link’.

Jesus that’s so sad. Really hope Reeves can come out on the other side of whatever is going on.

Steven Soderbergh is set to direct the remainder of ‘THE BATMAN: PART 2’. Him and Reeves will work together and remain in communication until filming has ended, with Reeves taking over post-production duties when ready. (Source: Deadline)

This scene felt kind of out of pocket when you remember that not only has Guy had to clean up John and Hal’s mess for the last 10 years but that he also had just helped him out. I get what they were going for but I feel like there was a better way to write the conflict here.

John Stewart kicking Guy off Earth was top tier lol #Lanterns

Lanterns was very good but if we get more of this I need it get weirder very fast. Normal is not a word I should be using to describe a Green Lantern show.

Truly a bummer. Vidcon had its faults to be sure but there truly was nothing like it. I’ve made lifelong friends because of Vidcon and without it Toonuki Lab would not exist. When we went indie and broke from Frederator they took a chance on us

Looks like VidCon is done. Hopeful for the future, but this press release feels extremely corporate. The exact opposite of what VidCon represents in my opinion. It's never been about the creators. It's always been about the fans. Not looking good. lions.co/en/press-vidcon-joi…

Kanye West did a song titled Heil Hitler and is currently doing a concert tour, which has included multiple dates at Raymond James stadium in Tampa that has banned Macklemore for saying end the genocide & free Palestine fucking absurd

Promoters have pulled Macklemore from Ed Sheeran’s tour after he called for a “Free Palestine” on stage: “We have been notified by venues on the upcoming U.S. tour dates that they will not allow a concert to take place with Macklemore on the lineup” (rollingstone.com/music/music…)

Could’ve been the easiest fucking PR lay up for Ed Sheeran. What a joke.

Macklemore reveals Ed Sheeran and his team removed him from his tour after his Free Palestine statements: “He told me that the words ‘Free Palestine’ and the image of the Palestinian flag were hurtful to a lot of people he spoke with. I told him that if those words were more offensive than tens of thousands of Palestinian children being killed by Israel, then there was a fundamental disconnect between where those people stood and where I stood. But he couldn't get past his public facing, ‘I don't take sides.’”

Trading Pokémon between an original GBA and a Switch 2 😎😲 My GBA-to-Switch trade adapter is working! Still plenty of work ahead, but seeing a real GBA communicate and trade with the Switch is pretty incredible. #Pokemon #GBA #Switch2

I love Palworld but I think it’s one big flaw is how far apart new base unlocks are. Its so easy to screw up base placement and invest to much before realizing it. Either give us more bases sooner or make it easier to move items around so we can restart.
