🤬 WE HATE MONDAYS 🤬
On Mondays, we lament the fourth movie that takes a trilogy off our list and makes it dead to us.
This week: AVENGERS: END GAME
The exciting conclusion to the Infinity War saga features Dad-Bod Thor, the epic battle against Thanos’s minions, and an iconic use of Ironman’s catch phrase.
We just wish it had been part of one really long movie with Infinity War, which it effectively was.
Check out our Tril-Bit episode mourning End Game in the comments below, and stay for the video summaries of the Avengers trilogy they took from us.

I mean, isn’t this why Rogue One and Andor have been so successful?

🗞️🧛🏻♂️ SUNDAY FUNNY PAGES 🧛🏻♂️🗞️
Kick your feet up, break open that leftover candy, and cleanse your palette of Halloween horror movies by checking into the Hotel Transylvania Trilogy:
• Hotel Transylvania (2012)
• Hotel Transylvania 2 (2015)
• Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018)
This animated dad-joke machine of a trilogy — from the creator of Dexter’s Laboratory Genndy Tartakovsky — stars Adam Sandler as the voice of Count Dracula, an overprotective monster dad running a luxury resort where monsters can be themselves (and humans are strictly off the menu).
Selena Gomez voices Dracula’s eternally teenage daughter Mavis, while Andy Samberg plays her human boyfriend Jonathan — the guy who teaches Drac that maybe humans aren’t so bad after all.
The hotel is packed with Sandler’s usual crew (Steve Buscemi, Kevin James, David Spade), SNL legends (Molly Shannon, Chris Parnell, Jon Lovitz), and comedy icon Mel Brooks as Dracula’s father, Vlad.
This is one of the rare trilogies where the series improved with funnier moments and more lovable characters as it went on.
🎶 Living it up at the Hotel Transylvania 🎶
You can check out, but you can never leave…WITH YOUR BLOOD! 🧛🏻♂️
(Well, unless you’re a monster, in which case we hope you enjoyed your stay and would like to help you with your bags. 🛎️)

🥉 HAPPY THIRDS-DAY!🥉
On Thursdays, we celebrate the third movie in a trilogy, and in honor of our New Episode, this week’s feature is MaXXXine.
MaXXXine (2024) closes the book on Ti West and Mia Goth’s X trilogy in pure 1985 Hollywood excess.
Six years after surviving the farmhouse massacre in X, Maxine Minx is chasing mainstream stardom in Los Angeles while the Night Stalker terrorizes the city. The film trades the rural Texas grit of X and the Technicolor melodrama of Pearl for sleazy neon, VHS grain, and the cutthroat glamour of ’80s Tinseltown.
Mia Goth delivers another magnetic performance as Maxine—steely, ambitious, and still living by the mantra “I will not accept a life I do not deserve.” It’s the highest-grossing entry in the series and West’s deliberate send-off, wrapping the themes of fame, desire, and violence with a bloody, stylish bow.
Get a recap, trivia, and our thoughts on MaXXXine and the rest of the X Trilogy in our newest episode here: pod.link/1262672022/episode/…

Been a while since you’ve seen Terrifier and want a refresher?
Never seen it and just want to understand what everyone is talking about?
Either way, Scott’s Plots has got you covered ⤵️
(Thread 🧵)
We hate the broom kid at the end of The Last Jedi, and retconned him appropriately in our head canon.
They even have the same dumb expression.

In our head canon, Kylo Ren sliced him in half like Vader through a Youngling because the broom was totally useless against a lightsaber.
Art the Clown is so much creepier in the dream sequence in Terrifier 2 that we wish the movie had gone with that angle, a la Nightmare on Elm Street, rather than resurrecting him.
