50 years ago last month, The Clash and the Sex Pistols played a show together, with Siouxsie and the Banshees opening in their first show ever. In the audience that night were Paul Weller of The Jam, Shane McGowan of The Pogues, Colin Newman of Wire, and Chrissie Hynde of the Pretenders. Crazy collection of talent in one room.
Working on a research project proposal with a looming deadline. Would never use AI but feeling like its very existence makes writing that much harder. Like, I don't want admittedly patchy ideas to sound like proposal-slop!
I've never been to one of those halloween shows where bands dress as other bands and play covers, and I probably never will. No shade if that's your thing just seems like it's been done to death and it's corny.
