We do a little ray tracing. I love that we shot electricity into rocks until they started thinking on their own. Now I just feed my rock math until pretty things get generated.
Hot Pockets have been main tanking the "this food tastes like burning" criticism for too long when it's really chicken pot pie that tastes like bleeding taste buds.
Literally anyone can make an account and nominate an article for deletion. That doesn't mean it will happen. You can even read the rules discussion where they decided to preserve the article.
This is actually showing why you SHOULD support Wikipedia.
Depends where you live, but it's going to be antidepressants, weed, or surprise Fentanyl if they're not just strictly sober out of the fear of being recorded.
I live in a state with $7.25 minimum wage and half the jobs already outsourced to kiosks.
Fast food still costs almost as much as a real restaurant. This is a dumb talking point.
It's because it looks like shit.
GenAI lacks intentionality and consistency. It makes everything a disgusting, fuzzy mess.
She looks like she's minding her own business.
You seem confused. You're supposed to be LARPing as a doctor, not the fashion police. Don't worry what others wear.
Spotted a woman inside Trader Joe’s wearing a mask.
Stepped outside to load my groceries and there she was, mask on in 100° weather with nobody else around.
At this point, it has to be a mental illness, would you agree?
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The CDC's non-COVID-19 guidance says wearing a mask is practical if "You or the people around you have risk factors for severe illness," amongst other reasons.

Also, Dr. Dawn Michael's title comes from a PhD in Human Sexuality. She has no medical qualifications.
GenAI art directly affects the end product. Staring at blurry clanker diarrhea for hours on end makes your vision blur and causes depression.
Replying to @TimSweeneyEpic @TheOtherFrost
Food lists ingredients because they directly affect the buyer; people have allergies and dietary sensitivities.
AI development tools aren’t comparable; AI opposition is a political movement and Steam AI disclosures are political signals like ESG disclosures.
Actually effort != genAI slop
If you're proud of your generated assets, you should be proud to label them as such.
As one of a tiny 2 person team working in our spare time to make an ambitious game like Hidden Empire, I agree with @TimSweeneyEpic here, because I think the merits of the game's quality should speak for themselves.
Regardless of Steam's AI disclosure rules, however, that will ultimately be the case. Eventually people will get bored of crusading about this issue and the games that developers put actual effort into, regardless of whether they use AI to accelerate the process or not, will succeed and the low effort slop will fail.
That's because the large macro concept isn't what makes a game good. The moment to moment execution and UX decides everything.
Chore simulators are conceptually bankrupt, but a few are so satisfying that they're still super successful and loved.
The slopbot clankers will never be able to judge what actually matters.
Don't worship AI while making games.
Why????
You probably know MECCHA CHAMELEON. It recently went viral and became a huge success.
I took the Steam description, removed the game's name, and presented it to ChatGPT and Grok as if it were a brand-new indie game idea.
I asked both models to rate the concept and estimate its viral potential.
Both gave it a score of around 6/10 and estimated its viral potential at under 25%.
Then came pages of analysis...
"This could be improved."
"This mechanic might not appeal to everyone."
"It may struggle to stand out."
How can AI truly know what millions of real people are going to fall in love with?
That's the point. GenAI assets SHOULD get your game negative reviews. That's the system working as intended.
If you didn't bother to make your game, why should people bother to play it?
Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has called Valve’s AI disclosure policy on Steam “irresponsible,” arguing that forcing developers to label games using AI could unfairly target smaller studios.
Sweeney believes AI will soon be a normal part of game development, so requiring developers to label games that use AI “makes no sense.”
"I think it's really irresponsible of Valve. They shouldn't do it, because it makes it much, much, much harder for a game developer to have a chance of success. You have to choose from either not using tools that can make you way more productive, and probably failing due to competition that does."
He also warned that these labels could make it easier for people to review-bomb games, especially those made by smaller studios.
The original had to run inside of 3MB of RAM and relied heavily on interpretation.
What you describe as "Disney adult" is just Dada's avant-garde rejection of traditional sensibilities and a reasonably believable fit for the industrial, post-apocalyptic world of FF7.
If you say that the FF7 Remake series is "95% the same" then I legit can't trust a thing you say about video games. I platimumed both games. I loved the combat, a lot of the music was really good, seeing the locations in modern graphics was awesome, but the story was heavily bloated to high hell, they took a 5 hour segment in OG game (Midgar) and made it into 40 hours just so they could make more parts and sell more games. They could have easily fit Remake and Rebirth into 1 game and have Revelations be the second and final title.
The entire tone of the game was changed from serious and anxiety ridden to instead be changed into a vibe that fits Disney Adults. The story changes and multiple timeline bullshit were unnecessary and the changes to characters like Cid Highwind was such a disappointment, and the way they handled Aeriths death for me was the final straw. If you say it's 95% the same as the OG, you're are just being dishonest.
We have more than 3MB of RAM to work with this time around, you half-boiled potato.
Of course we're allowed to put more than 3,000 triangles and a few flipbook sprites on the screen.
You're watching “Lord of the Rings: Remake”. They arrive in Rivendell
Suddenly a team of elves wearing skintight spandex appears
They burst into a choreographed dance to the song "YMCA" by The Village People. It lasts for 3 minutes
Then the Council of Elrond begins
Technically this is the same story beat as the original
But we all know it's not “95% the same”
