This past Saturday, October 24, the Buddy Brigade Peer Support Group partnered with Barrio Keepers at the former Greyhound racetrack from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. to support a community cleanup effort. Our Veterans assisted with light trash pickup and weed-eating, demonstrating the power of service, teamwork, and community engagement. Through activities like these, Buddy Brigade provides Veterans, including those experiencing homelessness, opportunities to build connections, find purpose, strengthen recovery, and give back to the community.
