Land Rover owned by Indians, models made in Slovakia, some in Hungary, and electronics are world renowned for being TERRIBLE.
I say this as someone who owns a Discovery whose engine blew up at 58k miles. JLR wanted £20k.
It could be suggested Land Rover betrayed Britain.

JLR is Tata-owned and run by an Indian CEO. It moved Defender and Discovery volume to Slovakia, set up an engineering hub in Hungary, and ended full car production at Castle Bromwich. Those decisions hit UK suppliers and jobs. The Telegraph lecturing people that a cheaper Chinese SUV is a “betrayal of Britain” while the supposed national champion has already offshored significant production, looks selective to say the least.
