we’re making a game where you fix an RC plane for your hamster 🐹✈️
except the puzzles use real electronics
and the circuits actually work ⚡
basically cozy electrical engineering

If this music immediately makes you trust a very questionable repair process… you know. 😭
Pat a Mat (…A je to!) 🤝 Crispy Circuits
Build it. Break it. Fix it. Somehow make the situation worse. Eventually: success. ⚡🐹
IYKYK.
Official spooky season notice:
No gameplay.
No electronics lesson.
No educational content.
We are off duty until further notice. 🎃
Also, we’re basically halfway to Easter, so there’s an Easter egg hiding in this video.
What did you spot? 👀
Halloween prep at Crispy Circuits:
✅ carve pumpkins
❌ buy candy
✅ make our own Spooky Scary Skeletons edit with a hamster and way too much electricity
Inductors are weird little things.
Turn the current on and they fight the change while building a magnetic field. Turn it off and that field collapses, briefly keeping current flowing. ⚡
Basically: a coil of wire that really hates sudden changes.
We’ve been staring at Crispy Circuits for so long that the changes barely register.
Then you put the old build next to the new one and… yeah.
Same game. Same hamster. A lot happened in between. 🐹⚡
DC doesn’t look back. ⚡
A battery pushes current in one direction - exactly what phones, computers and LEDs want.
Fun bit: an old-school tungsten bulb can run on AC. The current flips constantly, but the filament stays hot, so the light looks steady.
Want to learn electronics but have no idea where to start?
Good. Break some circuits. Fix them. Break a few more.
That’s basically how Crispy Circuits teaches you: experiment until the little approval stamp finally hits. ⚡🐹
Very satisfying.
A speaker turns electricity into something your ears can hear. 🔊⚡
Alternating current creates a changing magnetic field. That moves the coil, pushes the cone, and vibrates the air around it.
That vibrating air? Sound.

When the circuit finally works after 37 attempts:
🧍♂️⚡ → 🕺
There is no feeling quite like changing one tiny thing and suddenly watching the whole system come alive.
Crispy Circuits gets it.
Your wall outlet and your phone use electricity differently. ⚡
AC changes direction again and again. DC keeps moving one way.
That’s why devices convert AC from the outlet into DC they can use.
Learn both by building circuits in Crispy Circuits. 🐹
Class: simple circuit.
Homework: okay, getting harder.
Exam: electrical engineering final boss. ⚡
What I learned:
🐹💤
Crispy may actually have the right idea.
AC changes direction. A diode doesn’t care. ⚡
It lets current pass one way and blocks the other, turning an AC signal into pulsating DC through half-wave rectification.
Tiny part. Very important job.

Rush E started as an impossible piano joke. Then the internet decided to try playing it anyway.
That feels very Crispy Circuits: stare at an impossible-looking circuit, test it, break it, fix one thing… and somehow make it work. ⚡🐹
Rush E, but make it electronics.
A day in the life of Crispy. 🐹
Run on the wheel.
Take a well-earned nap.
Get woken up because the circuits still need power. ⚡
Work-life balance is going great.
Which Crispy feature is your favorite?
5V × 2A = 10W.
10V × 1A = 10W.
Same power. Very different result for a device designed for 5V.
Watts tell you how much power is involved, but voltage and current still have to match. ⚡
Learn it by building circuits in Crispy Circuits. 🐹
Two coils. No direct electrical contact. Still transferring energy. ⚡
A transformer uses a changing magnetic field to raise or lower AC voltage. More turns = more voltage. Fewer turns = less.

Can you spot the animation mistake? 👀
Crispy hops out of his mug and onto his wheel. Somewhere in there, a mistake appears for just 1–2 frames and only a few pixels.
You’ll need sharp eyes. No hints. 🐹
Tabs or spaces? We have a harder question: series or parallel? ⚡
Crispy Circuits is in Steam Programming Fest, Sep 10–14.
Same logic-puzzle itch as programming games. Except you debug real circuits, and your QA department is a hamster. 🐹
Can you solve one of our resistor puzzles? ⚡
First, watch how an ohm meter measures resistors in series and parallel.
Then it's your turn. 👀
🧩 What's the answer to the final puzzle?
