There is not system. That's the point Mark!
Goes without saying that result is important for #nufc at Fulham today but we need to see some evidence that the system works, the players understand what they're trying to do and there's a bit of structure and fluency about Newcastle.
Everything Monday wasn't basically. Jaissle certainly made a good case for change on Thursday - now need performance to back it up
This team and manager are dross. How can we be here 5 years after the takeover. Nothing about this 'vertical football' is fun. It's crap. Not seen anything in 12 games. I know managers need time but even the subs are far too late. Lack of quality and a lack of idea. Poor.
People love a pound for pound debate in boxing. Here's one: that was, pound for pound, the most underwhelming press conference in boxing history. They got so much wrong. Proper crap. How've they let that happen?!

Thank you Geordies.
Just a heartfelt thank you to the fans, Eddie Howe and his staff, all the players, directors, owners and everyone who works at the club for a period filled with happiness and achievements.
It was beautiful to live these nearly five years with you all. 🖤🤍 @NUFC

With regards to my evidence in the stewards enquiry after Race 1 at Goodwood today. I felt my horse had every chance in the race. He went a head up about a furlong out. I believe Tom Marquand did everything he could to stay straight. I do not believe I should’ve lied in order to attempt to have the result called in my favour. I wouldn’t want it happening to me.
Tournament average of 111. It's not the same sport anymore. He's playing against himself and numbers and records. Ridic.
I’m sorry this doesn’t make sense for this team they all followed instructions and no one abandoned their role or tried to be a hero it was just terrible tactics
This should be time for reflection for England, so for what is worth let me share with you a take from someone who is not English but knows English football culture perfectly having played many years in the Premier League
You might agree or disagree, but it links to what Tuchel said about the team being passive. And if there is a hint of truth in it, maybe responsability should be taken beyond the coach, and even beyond the changing room (maybe the excess of confidence entering the game, the difficulty to see problems when victories come, the abusive search for culprits, all those things that we have seen in the past are also partly to blame)
Here it goes:
"Guillem, I can't help repeating something I've told you before: England can never truly function as a team because they don't understand the word "solidarity" or the concept of collective football.
They always freeze when the decisive moment comes. They go out of every major tournament (World Cup or Euros) in the same way: not just losing, but making a mess of it. They always freeze when the decisive moment comes.
There's a historical pattern. At some point in the game they abandon each other. Every player starts looking after himself, trying to save his own skin.
Today they left the goalkeeper completely exposed. They all disappeared from the game, almost as if they were trying to avoid being singled out.
Can you say who was at fault for the goals? Exactly. The best thing for them is that no individual gets blamed. Collectively, they were responsible.
Everyone goes home relieved that it won't all fall on John or James. That it will all fall on Tuchel.
Meanwhile, Messi can hardly run, yet he spent the entire second half happily playing on the edge of the box. Enzo, too, kept finding space to shoot from the edge of the area — his trademark — until one finally went in.
An absolute disaster."
Should we discuss?

If England are going to beat Argentina tomorrow I expect they will have to do so with lots of marginal decisions going against them. They will be goaded, niggled and roughed up. They cannot allow themselves to be distracted or provoked.
This is World Cup heritage.

What if Dan Burn just heads Messi out of the stadium. Is there a plan in place for this?
