It was an enthralling experience to be selected to present the CPC from my department on "Thoracic Aortic Aneurysms" in front of MS4,MS5, and Attendings in the very auditorium I once sat almost 10 years ago as a newbie MS1. A proud Iqbalian moment, Alhamdulillah.

Guys, please get your VIT D levels checked.
Never in my mind thought that I'll have "severe deficiency" of vit D.
It could be one of the cause of generalised weakness and mood changes which most of us experience.
There are so many Do's and Don'ts for Step 2, but these 2 are the most imp imo:
1. No matter what you do, don't get burnt out
2. Keep your prep duration as concise as possible (~6 months is ideal)
Medical Reminder 🚨: Get yours and your loved ones' first Lipid Profile: American guidelines recommend the First Lipid Profile at either (i) Pre-Pubertal age 9-11 years or (ii) Post-Puberty @ age 17-21 years.

I need to raise a serious concern with @UpToDate . I dont know if you have any idea that average salary of a physician in third world countries is $350/month. Do you think he can afford an yearly subscription of uptodate costing $300?
You need to seriously provide significantly cheaper options, if you really want to promote uptodate, of which I am the biggest supporter. You have a very big market which you are missing because of this insane cost.
Kindly consider.
General Tips: USMLE is a long journey. It helps immensely if you have a study partner. Information is power. Try to keep track of any new changes and news regarding your exam.
Keep a healthy lifestyle. Hang out with friends, work out, and do things u love to keep ur mind fresh
