Anthony Edwards called LaMelo right after he found out the Timberwolves got Jonathan Kuminga:
“Aye did you see what happened? The Wolves got Jonathan Kuminga b****!…Aye it’s championship n****!”

Ant will be back. It'll be fine. Just stinks that:
- No MVP conversation
- No first-team (or any) All-NBA
- No 350 threes or however many he was gonna hit
Most of all, simply a bummer to not get to watch that guy hoop for the next couple months.

🚑 QUI SERA LE PROCHAIN À TOMBER ?
Après seulement 1 semaine de reprise en NBA, une série de blessures inquiète.
Anthony Edwards, Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, Kawhi Leonard, Paolo Banchero…

Anthony Edwards will have surgery on Thursday, after which there will be a better idea on the timeline for recovery, I'm told. As of now, the belief is it's going to be more than two months.

The Wolves do still have other moves in the works. They need a power forward and they need more shooting. I am told that they are not trading Donte DiVincenzo. The work continues.

LaMelo Ball reportedly scared the Timberwolves away during the draft process when he said he wanted to be the President of the United States, per @JonKrawczynski
“So, we know they picked Edwards. But that’s not my little nugget for you all. It’s why they picked Edwards. There were a million different reasons in their evaluation. But one of them was that they had an interview with LaMelo Ball during this process—trying to figure out, ‘Hey, is this the guy for us?’ And LaMelo… did not interview very well. One of the questions they asked him was: ‘Hey LaMelo, after you’re done playing, what do you see yourself doing? What kind of things do you aspire to?’ And LaMelo said: ‘I want to be President of the United States.’”
