Hey @AcademicEEG ,
We are looking for a PhD student to come to MSU in Fall 2026 to help w/ a funded project on sensorimotor impacts of ACL injuries. Experience in neuroscience, neuroimaging, etc. is a big plus.
DM w/ any questions

What is sensorimotor dysfunction following an ACL injury 🤔
and how as clinicians should we assess it?

For something completely different:
This week’s edition of #artworkcommisionedbymychildren is ‘A marker who plays guitar’
As a regular consumer of the #superlabreadinglist, I was very excited to see this.
Long time listener first time caller, if you will...
SUPER EXCITING to find one of our papers making the weekly sensorimotor superlab reading list! Check out our recent review on somatosensory information in skilled motor performance and other amazing articles!
@Ty_whitty @LabCsu
I'm excited to share our recently published paper reviewing somatosensations role in skilled motor performance. We dive into the neural mechanisms as well as techniques to improve motor performance via proprioception. Check it out!

Family is the fuel. After seeing the dramatic differences in experiences with multiple sclerosis between his mother and aunt, CSU researcher Brett Fling was driven to find innovative ways to improve mobility 👟 col.st/BC3iP
I can’t say enough wonderful things about @LabCsu, the @csuhes department and the @ColoradoStateU community. A wonderful opportunity for anyone looking for a great post doc experience.
Want to move to beautiful Fort Collins?!
We're recruiting a postdoc to join our lab to study mobility control and neurorehabilitation in people with MS. Additional details can be found here: biomch-l.isbweb.org/forum/bi…
Somatosensory input to the nervous system is vital towards skilled motor performance, but its inherently noisy and uncertain. Here we showed that TENS is a way of reducing that noise and may have some real implications for motor learning. @MDPIOpenAccess

Excited to get this paper out showing how uncertainty in sensory input impacts body position awareness during stepping. Thanks to @LabCsu for great mentorship and help with this study and all who were willing to come take many many steps in #VirtualReality. Science is cool folks
Really interesting new work from @Ty_whitty investigating if whole body movements fit a Bayesian framework. Thanks for letting us be a part of it!

Come discuss it with him next week @ISPGR #ISPGR2022!!
Very thankful to @ISPGR for putting on a great conference this week in Montreal and excited to have earned the best postdoctoral poster award. A great time with the whole crew talkin science, playin foosball and, slammin poutine.
