He removed Mamdani's verification in efforts to shadow ban after that ratio. Imagine how he'd weaponise Starlink in South Africa when the govt doesn't do what he wants

Sean Paul has nothing but love for Tyla. In a new interview with Time Out South Africa, he praises her authenticity, her South African accent and the way she stays true to herself. He also talks about their collaboration on the “Push 2 Start” remix.
He’s heading back to South Africa this December. Love to see the respect.

south africans need to start learning what micro aggressions are and how to spot them because they're all being taken for a poes through subtle actions.

This is very annoying. DA members think that they have a self-imposed superior thinking to determine the rights of others.
They openly work with the ANC through a front door, including protecting their corrupt activities, but others must not work with the ANC.
They are certainly antagonising some of us who are independent.

You have a problem with ActionSA working with the ANC, but no problem with the DA going to bed with the ANC? Make it make sense. ActionSA doesn’t owe anyone a coalition. They’re free to make their own political decisions, just like the DA does. Also being in a coalition with the DA is pain in the ass! They always make it difficult for the other party to work. They always threaten to leave.

an observation about south african society is how deeply some people still associate whiteness w competence and institutional credibility. there’s an assumption that if a white person is behind a company, an organisation or an idea, it must automatically be more efficient or more likely to succeed. i think this also helps explain the persistence of apartheid nostalgia and historical revisionism.
