Next DFL trifecta - imagine if we got some permitting/met council reform and a funding boost. Would be REAL NICE if cut and cover tunnel ROW and elevated ROW was actually considered and plausible in urban areas instead of only in suburbs and parkland. 😔

One thing people miss with zoning is after an app is submitted, it doesn’t matter what you think. It matters what code says If you don’t follow the code within certain confines you’ll be sued, lose, spend city funds, & project will be built anyway

The RAM I purchased 18 months ago has SEPTUPLED (7x) in price since then. What costed me $440 would now cost YOU $3,000 Personally, I think Sam Altman's body should be put to better use inside of a Brazen Bull

The guy who compared a Trump rally to Jonestown on live Fox News was invited by the Trump campaign. They called his work phone on Monday and asked him to come. His name is Tom Hoyle. He's 57 and runs a small custom printing shop in Charlotte called MadPark Designs with his business partner. He's hated Trump since 1989, back when he was a sophomore in college. And he really, really doesn't like getting sales calls on the shop line, from anybody. So when the rally people called, he said yes. He even signed up with his real name and contact info, because he wanted it on the record that they invited him. Then he had to get through the door. A private security guy asked him straight up if he was a Trump supporter. Tom told him he supports the Constitution, then started talking about his shirt, which was for an old death metal band called Death. He kept going about the history of Florida death metal until the guard gave up and let him in. His plan going in was honestly pretty juvenile. He and a buddy he grew up with figured he'd wait a few minutes into the speech and yell something filthy. Then a Fox News reporter, Lucas Tomlinson, found him standing off by himself and asked if he could interview him live. Tom thinks a white guy with a big beard and a ball cap was pretty much exactly what they were looking for. He told himself he wasn't going to cuss on national TV, so he made it up on the spot. He says the first line and then just waits. The reporter goes "Wait, the Jonestown Massacre?" and that's when he finishes it. He told The Handbasket he picked that up from Billy Crystal, who said on Letterman back in the '80s that you always let the other guy set up your punchline. Tomlinson set it up for him perfectly. A few minutes later some men who said they were Secret Service pulled him aside. He asked if this was about the concession stand, because it closed early and he was starving. They didn't love that and walked him out. On his way out he passed the guard from the front door and told him, hey man, you didn't vet me too well. Think about how many people had a shot at stopping this. The campaign's call list found him. The signup form had his name. A guard questioned him to his face. A Fox crew put him on live TV. Every one of them took one look at the beard and the hat and filled in the rest. That's how almost all of this screening works. Asking somebody what they actually believe takes time, and looking at them takes a second, so everybody just looks. The one check that actually caught him came after he'd already said it on national TV.
Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

The only people capable of launching illegal foreign wars while simultaneously crashing the economy and then punishing the troops for volunteering to fight are Republicans. Tired of people pretending the GOP is patriotic when their actions my whole life had made life worse.

The Key to “The Box” is to have a series of nicely proportioned “Holes” and Trim on the front. Then you can make anyone fall madly in love with “The Box”
Most modern design standards explicitly target the box. They require step backs, eaves, “break up the massing” and all manner of machinations to prevent the most affordable, durable, practical form of building. Rows of decorated boxes are the base unit of great cities.

The IRGC are doing a looney tunes bit where they sail up to our tankers, hand them a bomb with a lit fuze, and say “ain’t I a stinker” in Persian
The UKMTO reports that IRGC forces sailed a small boat into the US-protected Hormuz lane overnight, attached a pair of limpet mines to the side of an oil tanker, and blew a hole in its engine room.

The final goal of AI companies is to end personal computing which in simple terms means to remove all access to digital devices from genral public. You can already see how prices of laptops, phones and PCs are being artificially inflated so no one can afford them anymore. This is the largest endeavour to move digital assets from people to the technocrats. They recognise the monetary value which internet affords to common people and want to take it away. After they've taken away all your phones & PCs they will sell you a rectangle box which would run on a cloud and would require a constant subscription, this is their long game.
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman believes people owning RAM is wasteful, and that it belongs in data centers instead. "From a global allocation perspective, actually, it’s quite terrible to have everyone have a bunch of the world’s limited supply of DRAM sitting in their own computer."

In Minnesota, one Republican billionaire political family owns the two biggest newsrooms in the state, including a network of more than 20 public radio stations. 48 hours after this story broke neither has even mentioned it. #criticaltheory was always right
Q: If the administration has declared war on waste and fraud, can you explain the $420 million overpayment for a prison in Appleton, Minnesota, when the company offered it to the state of Minnesota for $75 million? BESSENT: That question is a waste of time.

Matrix'in orijinal senaryosu neydi, biliyor musunuz?

Unusual alert from U.S. embassy in Moscow warning it has information about the threat of a potential "mass casualty" event at the city's Tsaritsyno park. Last time I remember this kind of specific alert it was before the Crocus City concert hall ISIS-linked attack in 2024.

Stanford University student Elsa Johnson became a target of the Chinese Communist Party in 2024. Elsa attended a private school as a child with a heavy focus on foreign languages and became fluent in Mandarin Chinese while still in elementary school. Years later after she was accepted to Stanford, she studied international relations and researched Chinese industry and military tactics while working at the Hoover Institution on campus. She soon came to the attention of members of the Chinese Communist Party, which has a heavy presence at Stanford and throughout Southern California. There are currently more than 1,000 Chinese students attending Stanford each year, and the university has received more than $64,000,000 in private donations from Chinese individuals and organizations since 2010. In June 2024, a man claiming to be a fellow Stanford student named Charles Chen contacted her online. She was not initially suspicious as they had many mutual associates, and his photos and posts appeared to be centered on campus. But his questions and requests quickly put her on edge as he invited her on a paid trip to China. And he seemingly knew details about her that she had never shared with him. When she tried to disengage with him, she began receiving threatening phone calls by Chinese speakers. Elsa contacted Stanford administrators and the FBI, who told her Charles was likely affiliated with the Ministry of State Security, had been posing as a Stanford student for years, and had targeted at least ten other female students since 2020 in a similar manner. They also told her she was under physical surveillance on campus by the Chinese Communist Party. Elsa wrote articles in the Stanford Review and The Free Press about Chinese influence on campus, and in March 2026 testified about espionage threats on college campuses before the House Committee on Education and Workforce. For episode 270 of the Spycraft 101 podcast I spoke with Elsa about being targeted by a foreign government right in the middle of a US college campus. The episode is available now. #stanford #college #student #china #hooverinstitute   open.spotify.com/episode/6KO…
