🧵1/ The University of Alberta Students’ Union is deeply concerned about housing affordability for students. A recent survey indicated that over 200 undergraduates have resorted to living in unsafe places like cars and abandoned buildings since becoming students.
9/ With students susceptible to a low availability, high-cost market; we need additional affordable housing options. When we invest in affordable housing initiatives, we invest in the success and future of our students.
