🎉 Happy Birthday to Diana Lyash, an incredible community leader, dedicated UCPS mom and true force of passion!
Diana brings so much to everything she does.
Diana, we hope your day is filled with all the joy and celebration you deserve!
Mentors can help students dream a little bigger, try something new, navigate the tough stuff, and recognize the strengths they already have.
To every mentor making a difference, THANK YOU for showing up, cheering loud and helping students see what’s possible!
We’re celebrating TWO great things today!
First, we want to send a big thank you to Goulston Technologies for renewing their PIE membership and continuing to invest in UCPS students and educators.
And second, while we’re celebrating, help us wish Fred a very Happy Birthday! 🎉
What if one small act of kindness could change someone’s entire day? That’s the power of Unity Day.
Today, we’re standing up against bullying to create a school community where every student is seen and every voice is heard.
Today was SurPRIZE Patrol! 🎉
This year, we had the joy of visiting Western Union Elementary, New Town Elementary, Cuthbertson High School and Piedmont Middle School where we awarded nearly $35,000 in Innovation Grants to help bring new ideas, opportunities & experiences to life.
Something exciting is headed to UCPS schools! 👀
Our UCEF SurPRIZE Patrol is getting ready to hit the road with some BIG surprises for our UCPS schools.
Which school will we visit??
Be on the lookout. The SurPRIZE Patrol could be coming to a school near you!

Research shows that feeling cared for & supported at school can protect students’ mental health & reduce the risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviors. Creating a culture of care & connection in our schools can truly make the difference.
Let’s keep showing up for one another.
