We offer hundreds of FREE local @unisonlearning courses for our members. Whichever "hat" we're wearing (employee, parent, partner, carer...) building confidence & assertiveness can help in every part of our lives. That's just one example. Loads to choose from! #WednesdayWisdom

THREAD
Here's what I think will happen..
👉 @NHSHarlow bosses dazzled with promises of big cash bonanza.
👉 Domestics handed over to privateers.
👉 Local Mgrs first to go.
👉 Pre-transfer promises forgotten.
👉 Staff made to feel unwelcome, shifts/areas changed, wages wrong.

For many women low wages are not the only cause of in-work poverty. Working fewer hours due to an inability to pay for or access high-quality, affordable #childcare is a huge barrier to them working. Raising wages will only do so much. #SpringStatement
