The Atlantic Coast of Maryland Shoreline Protection Project reduces coastal storm risk in #OCMD using a wide, elevated beach berm (the beach itself), the protective sea wall in the boardwalk, and the vegetated dune system that stretches north from the boardwalk to the state line.

Baltimore District has awarded a $25.7 million contract for our cyclical Ocean City beach renourishment. While this routine cycle was scheduled prior to the recent nor'easter, the timing allows USACE to directly address the recent erosion during the upcoming work. 🔗⬇️
