Maybe I'm missing something, but @AFLCIO position against #USMCA makes little sense to me. The deal is much better for labor than #NAFTA. If @RichardTrumka is waiting for the perfect trade deal, he should consider that "the perfect" is often the enemy of "the good." #MadeInUSA

Based on feedback from our Rhode Island Textile Innovation Network @ritextiles, @SenWhitehouse today announced national legislation aimed at closing the #manufacturing skills gap. The program offsets cost for mfrs to use retiring machine workers to train replacements #MadeInUSA
DiMicco is exactly right - again. I run a #manufacturing company that competes with China everyday. All I ask for is a level playing field. The skewed playing field has cost us millions of mfg jobs and led to stagnant real median income.
