Checked out Sur Lie, the new Fox Park cutie from the Little Fox folks. Gorgeous branding, cozy vibes, comfy chairs (important!), oysters with fancy accessories, and mushroom lasagna that made me reconsider my mushroom-hating ways. A very happy, well-fed girly-pop.
Finally checked out Baia in The Grove, and the Good Company folks have done it again! Gorgeous space, immaculate branding, and fantastic food. The mussels and spicy sauce? Give me a loaf of bread and leave me alone. And that casoncelli? Perfection. Girls’ night approved.
Spent the afternoon living our best fall lives with my favorite tiny humans, and resurrecting my former horse-girl era one pony ride at a time. There were adorable outfits, wildly unhinged pumpkin-picking strategies, and enough wholesome autumn activities to make a Hallmark movie
Spooky Pepper Night! 9 years of carving faces into bell peppers. Honestly, at this point, it’s basically a national holiday.
This year, we added some festive seasonal wines to the festivities. Were they delicious? Absolutely not. Were they entertaining? Unfortunately, yes.
Another year of celebrating my mom’s birthday without her. But we still have to celebrate.

The air is cool and my Minnesotan is coming out in full force! I found this package of Lefse at Trader Joe’s last night. They aren’t good as homemade but they’ll do in a pinch. Top with butter and a sprinkle of sugar.
