Javits Frimpong was 15 years old. He moved from Ghana to the Bronx a year ago to live with his father, and on Thursday morning he was shot in the stomach while walking to school. He ran a block before he collapsed and later died at the hospital. His father, Thomas, says Javits had been bullied at lunch and reported it, and just three days before the shooting, his school suspended two boys who fought with him. Police have not linked the bullying to his death, and three suspects are still out there. “He’s my everything,” his father said. “I’m here with him alone.”
