A knee jerk reaction to the nuanced mental processing of seeing a dead body for the first time fr outside of a casket and expressing frustration at a live lost when I wanted to prevent exactly that.
What was the purpose of responding if you found it pointless?
I walked away immediately after and wasn’t near any commotion but gut told me to at least try and that’s the only reason it wasn’t more traumatic when I found out what happened like at least I tried
I really blame the media for devaluing black men’s lives bc he seemed to feel like he HAD to and whatever happened to him was def an accident bc he tried so hard not to fight him. The guy that passed threw both their lives away bc he didn’t wanna be seen as weak. I’m angry af.
