Modular Youtubers get comments like “has anyone ever made a hit record with modules?”
Quite an insane thing to say. I doubt these folks started with that criteria. They started with “this looks stupid” and then cast around for something to ‘justify’ their toxicity. But!

Last week I claimed fair use for the first time in 800+ videos and it got rejected. I played the chords from Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You in a teaching video. This was just based on the chord progression. It was claimed manually by @WarnerChappell. This is outrageous!

Quick update: A big thank you to @YouTube and @sonymusic for reinstating my Simon & Garfunkel video. It has been a crazy couple of days but all copyright strikes are gone. A big thanks to everyone here who helped move things forward. You are the best🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Day 2 and another strike. @UMG removed the strike and put my Cars video back up (thank you) Now @sonymusic has given me a punitive copyright strike on a video that was blocked last month. @PaulSimonMusic is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. Sad to see.

After 790 videos and nearly 5 years of my channel I received my first copyright strike for @thecarsband WMTSG. The strike is from @UMG. I have come to a conclusion that it’s a waste of time to talk about these older artists. @UMG should release the claim because it’s BS.

This is the rack I'm thinking about for my inevitable Eurorack YouTube video. It's not cheap, but I chose modules that would give you a lot of options and flexibility and would continue to serve you if you decide to go farther with the hobby.
