#NYR have to work on their neutral zone play, stop giving away goals, and improve on board battles. Utah is a good team but the Rangers keep handing them chances on unforced errors.

Gritty win for the #NYR on back to back nights, 3rd game in 4 days, defended really well, and got a solid shutout by Garand. Good chance a lot of Rangers look like that this season.

I haven’t skated in awhile but I’m pretty sure I could carry the puck through the neutral zone against the #NYR. Add that and not allowing own goals to the list of things to work on.

#NYR are putting Dylan Garand and Taylor Raddysh on waivers today, per league source. Team thinks Garand still has some developing to do and needs to be getting No. 1 goalie reps as a 24yr old. They're accepting the risk of losing him for nothing.
