Dana White has basically given up on making Haney vs Shakur. When you don't get cooperation from the two fighters, it's time to move on to fighters that actually do what to fight each other.And without getting drastically overpaid. That old staying "Fighter's fight" is now a bygone saying in this era of Boxing.

Kid Austin because he won a vacant WBA title requires him to dispatch one mandatory next. "WBA Rule C.12 (Vacant Title Defense Periods), a boxer who wins a vacant title in an eliminatory fight cannot take voluntary defenses first and must make their initial title defense against a mandatory or leading available contender within a strict, shortened timeframe." Currently that would be #3 Rayo Valenzuela unless Champion in recess Tank Davis returns and decides to exercise his immeadiate mandatory to the new Champion Kid Austin. @rayoboxing
