HUGE: Spain’s biggest unions have announced a nationwide general strike over housing issues on November 11, just two weeks before a newly called snap election.
Rising rents and evictions have taken center stage in the country over the last month, leading to massive protests and a proposed eviction moratorium which was shot down by the conservative elements in Parliament.
Now the country's two largest unions, UGT and CCOO, have agreed to strike together for the first time in 14 years, with other unions set to join as well.

The extent of US intervention in Brazil has discredited the very concept of elections. None of them in Latin America are free or fair anymore. Every vote is held with a gun to people’s heads, direct threats of sanctions and even war if you vote the 'wrong way'.

AutoZone is challenging our election results by claiming we “improperly used supervisors” when they transferred two people into our store to vote, one of whom had my job title, and allowed others with my job position to vote. I couldn’t even vote!

AutoZone is REALLY scared of the first ever union on their premises. They spent 200k to stop this one shop from unionizing- they don't want it to spread- and it didn't work.
Now AutoZone resorted to illegal union busting tactics.

A big victory for the workers of Autozone, UAW Local 259 @UAWRegion9A. Management hired all the possible anti union consultants and spent a boatload of money to defeat them. But the workers made it clear that you can’t beat good organizing. Congratulations! Welcome to the @uaw
HUGE: Autozone workers just won the first ever union at the company.
Despite Autozone spending an estimated $210,696 and using every tactic in the book to stop just 11 workers from forming a union, the small shop in New York chose to unionize today.
These workers will now join the @UAW.
