He’s scoffing with a roll of his eyes “I know what you’re doing.

She actually laughed, looking at him in disbelief. “See? And somehow I’m the boring one. I mean, I hardly see that as a problem. If anything, you seem to be the problem.”

He’s rolling his eyes “Dud you forgot that I know your every single move?”

She spread her arms wide and made a gesture of surrender. “All right. You want us to ‘fight’? Well, let’s have a ‘fight’. I promise you I’m certainly up for it. Unless you’re still on your best behaviour or busy – whatever you want to call it.”

“Not the memory lapses and gray hair.”

“Maybe that’s it. But I don’t know – what can I know? I mean, I'm too old. I'm already starting to have memory lapses.”

“Ah yes, because we know by have about two hundred years of history. Or wait, maybe that was someone else.”

She lets out a playful laugh, scrunching her nose. “Oh, really? Doesn't ring a bell. You must be confusing me with someone else, because I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.”

“Oh I know you can. It just takes the right person. I have witnessed it quite a few times actually.”
𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎. (@THEORIGINALBEXX) profile picture𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎.@THEORIGINALBEXXAug 16
She lets out a soft, scoffing laugh, shaking her head as her eyes lock onto his with absolute confidence. “Bold of you to assume I could ever be tamed.”

“Oh. Me being busy is me being on my best behavior? Hm, maybe I should do it more often. Seems to keep you some kind of tamed.”
𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎. (@THEORIGINALBEXX) profile picture𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎.@THEORIGINALBEXXAug 16
She arches a single brow, her eyes glinting with amusement as she holds his gaze. “Since you started being on your 'best behavior.'”

“You, understimulated? See once when?” He’s ever so slowly uncrossing his arms, watching her.
𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎. (@THEORIGINALBEXX) profile picture𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎.@THEORIGINALBEXXAug 16
She steps into his personal space, closing the distance between them as she lets out a low chuckle. “Not bored. Just under-stimulated. Care to fix that?”

“Oh, I’ve been on my best behavior?” He’s chuckling with a shake of his head “Or maybe you’re bored.”

“That’s because you’ve been on your best behaviour lately.”

“Or what? Gonna “fight” me? Been a while since we’ve done any of that.” He’s definitely smirking.
𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎. (@THEORIGINALBEXX) profile picture𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎.@THEORIGINALBEXXAug 16
She shakes her head and bites her lip to suppress a smile. “Don’t make me get all sentimental.”

𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎. (@THEORIGINALBEXX) profile picture𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎.@THEORIGINALBEXXAug 16
“Oh Marcel, you know us girls complete suckers for sweet talk. Especially hopeless romantics like me.”

There’s a snort coming from him “You are usually always up to something, Rebekah. And usually it’s something to be fussed over about. But I’m not here to fuss. Believe it or not.”
𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎. (@THEORIGINALBEXX) profile picture𝑩𝒆𝒌𝒂𝒉 𝒎.@THEORIGINALBEXXAug 15
She studied him carefully, as though trying to figure out what was going through his mind, not entirely sure how she ought to respond. “I don’t know. Maybe? I suppose it depends on how you see it.”
