The internet didn’t make everyone a creator. It made everyone an audience, and a few people with cameras the creators.
We built ContentRoof for the other 99%. Your words in, a finished film out, nine languages, minutes.
This is our film about why.

We make ContentRoof.com free forever for students and teachers.
I know we can never thank our teachers enough for what they’ve given us, but this is our small way of giving back.
Some teachers didn’t have much, but they gave us everything they had. 🍎
They drew the world in chalk and made us believe we could achieve anything.
This one is for every teacher who changed a life.
Tag the teacher who changed yours. ❤️

ContentRoof is not just another AI video generator.
While building it, I've been spending a surprising amount of time investigating problems that go well beyond video creation.
For example, one of our AI models scored 95% on a benchmark, yet failed on 95% of ordinary statements in real videos. In another experiment, asking for a 60-second video produced anything between 44 and 105 seconds across languages. We also found that nearly 80% of our rendering time was being spent capturing browser frames, which led us to build our own renderer.
These weren't just bugs to fix. They were interesting problems worth measuring, understanding, and sharing.
So today I'm introducing ContentRoof Lab, where we're publishing the experiments behind the product, including our methods, results, and what didn't work.
I want ContentRoof to contribute to the broader AI and engineering community, not just build another tool that uses AI.
Our first four research notes are now public, and we'll continue sharing what we learn.

What is wrong with @github - a lots of time returned with internal error.
Next in my series of short films about companies that inspire me: @CommandCodeAI.
What if your AI coding agent actually learned how you write code, instead of making you repeat yourself?
Love the vision behind this one.
@MrAhmadAwais, a small tribute to what you're building. Hope you enjoy it!

What if AI didn't just answer questions, but could actually see what you're doing and help you along the way?
I love the vision behind this one.
A small tribute to @FarzaTV and what he's building.

I have about 300 users in 3 days, but still figuring how they can convert to paying users. So far 0 paying users.
Let's see how this journey goes.

I love the idea that anyone should be able to turn an idea into working software.
A small tribute to that vision and the people building it.
@amasad, hope you enjoy this one!

I am over the moon because @ReplitSupport liked it - hey make sure to send it to Amjad. I can create another one now :)

What started as a simple way to schedule tweets grew into a platform loved by creators and businesses around the world.
A small tribute to that journey. Buffer Commit.
@joelgascoigne, hope you enjoy this one!
I’m starting a series of short films about companies that inspired me to build.
First up: @Zapier.
It began with a simple problem: why can’t our apps talk to each other?
Here’s my little tribute to the people who took that idea and built something remarkable.

@wadefoster, hope you enjoy it!
I have small number of users at my little tool, but the bigger question is how to convert them to paid users. Let's see how it goes.
okay, i started this project as a fun project.
you might want to give it a try :)

There's a lot of pressure on businesses to adopt AI, even when they don't quite know what problem they're trying to solve.
And I'm not saying AI isn't useful. It absolutely is. One person can now do work that previously needed three or four. But we rarely talk about what happens to the time saved. A good part of it goes into checking outputs, correcting mistakes, and making sure the model hasn't confidently taken you in the wrong direction.
Then there's the mental exhaustion of managing multiple AI agents at once. I call it Context Whiplash. You're constantly switching between tasks, trying to keep track of what each agent is doing. At some point, it becomes exhausting rather than productive.
I think businesses need to ask a simpler question before worrying about falling behind. What problem are we actually trying to solve?
Wrote a longer piece on this
@marclou it's a long shot if you'll see this. However if you do, do you have thoughts on this?
