With a two-cent wealth tax on fortunes greater than $50 million, we can ensure universal child care, cancel all student loan debt, make technical schools and two- and four-year colleges free, and more. It’s possible if we get the ultra-rich to pay a fair share.

Thanks to our New Mexico leaders for stepping up to protect the Greater Chaco landscape. We urge Congress to pass this bill and permanently protect the habitats of the wildlife that live in and around the canyon. Chaco Canyon is a national treasure. #ProtectChaco #MoreNature

You can have your lobster and eat it too! @WholeFoods followed the recommendations of marine experts and paused its purchase of Gulf of Maine lobster. Now they should commit to buying lobster caught using whale-safe technology.

By committing to purchase lobster caught with whale-safe ropeless technology, @RedLobster can continue to serve “seafood with standards” and play a vital role in creating a market for lobster caught using ropeless gear.

It's baffling to me that school meals aren't free. Kids raising money to pay off "lunch debt"! How could you possibly think that is OK?
Every child should receive free healthy meals from their school. I will gladly pay my taxes to make that happen. There is no better investment.

This #InternationalPolarBearDay @Interior should cancel the Willow project. A pretty name with disastrous consequences. This project would allow more drilling in the Arctic, fragmenting wildlife habitat and putting wildlife –like the polar bear– at risk. environmentamerica.org/media…

Wolves balance our ecosystems. They keep other animals from overgrazing, help maintain population sizes and even reduce droughts’ severity. Tell Colorado Parks & Wildlife that we did not vote to reintroduce wolves so they could become someone's trophy. engagecpw.org/comment-form
